If the Democrats try to Filibuster Gorsuch what should the GOP do

If Gorsuch is filibustered, what should the GOP do

I think you have a hard time understanding how Democratic voting in the US works. In almost all cases, other than the presidency, whoever wins the majority of the vote wins the election. Say what you want about the presidential election but Republicans own 33 governorships and 32 state legislatures and all of those were voted by the majority of voters, not by the EC. In other words, 2/3 of the states are red and you aren't going to change that by calling voters in these states dishonest and fascist.

On the contrary. I hope the GOP grows a spine and passes its self-serving and public-sacrificing policies so the people are forced to confront the reality of how bad GOP extremist ideology is for the country. As an addict, i recognize the need for those who drank the kool aid to hit rock bottom.

Who is sitting at rock bottom now? Liberals are an extremist ideology, that's why Republicans own 67% of the states and one reason why Trump was elected. You don't seem to understand that the only voters who really count are the independents and the moderates. They don't like Democratic policies and vote in Republicans, after which they realize they don't like Republican policies and vote in Democrats, after which they don't like Democratic policies and vote in Republicans and we keep going around in circles. Both sides always seem to think that when the other side gets voted out, their side will be in forever. Both sides keep on making the very same mistake over and over and over again.

Lol oh the irony of this post is delicious.

"others like you are flailing around helplessly screaming" "Susan Rice" "Yet you spout it off like you have definite proof."

All you have to point to is how many elections you've won with these dishonest and fascist exploitations. Sad.

Because Rice has been revealed as the person who used surveillance to request the unmasking of people within the Trump campaign before there was any information regarding any Russia issues. What is sad is you don't understand what real fascism is, what authoritarianism really is and you have no proof of any collusion yet you keep pressing forward with your disinformation campaign.

You really need to get out of your liberal bubble and get the hell out in the real world once in a while.

I'm not so sure it was going to be amended in any meaningful way. I'm all for the Freedom Caucus saying that the plan did nothing to lower premiums. I actually agree with that. But, their strategy of repealing Obamacare first and then coming up with a plan that will pass later on was rather stupid. If they actually believe that then why don't they just show us the plan now and prove that it will pass, and then repeal Obamacare. I hope the left doesn't take my post as saying that it's good will still have Obamacare because Obama does suck and it is getting worse and I don't want to fix it because it can only be fixed in a liberal way and the liberal way sucks.
So, the Freedom Caucus gets their way and BO Care is repealed. I don't think it will be as easy a job of replacing BO Care at a later date as the Freedom Caucus contends. That's not surprising. The Freedom Caucus aren't politicians. They're ideologues. They're RINOs.
I guess everyone is an ideologue, these days..except Trump.

Here's is an experiment for you. Pick 10 well run states and 10 poorly run states. Think about how long those states have done well or poorly. Probably for awhile-150 years or so. Then look at the governors and see if you see a pattern on what party tends to do better governing. You even get a head start as Colorado is one of the few states that is doing well (maybe not in the top 10 however) yet has had a majority of Democrat governors over the past 140 years (since becoming a state). 22 out of 42. Mississippi has had 30 Democrats out of the last 34 governors.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. If you think the Freedom Caucus are RHINOs, then who do you believe are the real conservatives?

RINO doesn't address conservationism...REPUBLICAN In Name Only. Or are you calling them RHINOs as an insult??

You're referring to CINO. Conservative In Name Only. The very first Republican Party back in 1860 didn't have any Conservatives or conservatives since Conservativism didn't commence until after Barry Goldwater/1964 and that first Republican Party was too concerned with big government and the over throwing of slavery to have many conservatives.

Members of the Freedom Caucus are Republicans in name only. Literally. They are a bunch of Libertarians. There is a reason why Libertarians have never gained the White House.

Back on topic. I want dems to filibuster Gorsuch. To force GOPs to invoke the nuclear option so when other SCOTUS judges retire on Trump's watch, their replacements won't have to be as moderate as Gorsuch. In other words, we'll get some SCOTUS judges who are more originalist in their interpretations of The Constitution.

The context we're discussing the GOP is in congress at the federal level.

The guys who tried to drop health insurance for 24 million Americans to pay for a free pay raise on the wealthy.

He is also the guy who promised to get health care for everyone. Obama promised the same thing but failed. No universal health care. What we got what health care insurance for all but 28 million Americans and insurance is not health care. 28 million uninsured!
But I doubt that Trump will fail as badly as Obama. The goal is health care, not insurance. Yes, I understand. Insurance companies like those mandatory purchases.

Single payer is dead and will be for a very, very long time. Therefore, the goal is health insurance for as many as possible.
