That isn't about "greenies'. That is a very basic statement. You are defending your idiocy but pointing out someone elses. That doesn't work. Just because soemone else is wrong doesn't make you right be default.

As I recall at one time all the scientists agreed that the earth was flat because they didnt want to catch the eye of the Inquisition

Sort of like modern scientists who are afraid of being bullied by wacko environmentalists
