1. Appointment of originalist justices who follow the ideals of individual liberty and self defense rights to the SCOTUS. (I'm tired of all these SJW efforts to impose "equality of outcome" and "free speech only if we all agree it is okay" social policies. He's already satisfied my vote with his first pick, and if he keeps that up I'll remain content.)

2. Rebuilding the American economy via enlightened (as opposed to greedy) capitalism. That mean's jobs at decent wages for Americans, and penalties for so-called "American" corporations whose primary profits are based on foreign outsourcing of labor and production. It also means keeping the environment in mind when developing American resources.

3. Rebuilding American infrastructure.

4. Immigration.

I could care less about Russia, China, or otherwise.

P.P.S. I don't consider myself a Trump "supporter" as I voted for him as the lesser of two evils. I consider myself a Trump "Defender" because I want to give him a fair chance to serve in the office he was constitutionally elected to, and I am sick to death of all the mudslinging efforts to delegitimize his election.

We need to be one country again, and we need to do things well....honestly, efficiently, with justice and fairness, with always an eye towards leaving the place better than we found it.

The economy. In a way, nothing else matters. You say that we need to fix corruption, and I agree. But would you rather have....a good, 70k per year job, wife and kids, house, etc, without debt collectors hounding you, but corruption in DC....or, a completely legitimate government, honest, up front...but have to work 3 part time 25k per year jobs, no 401k, insurance, wife and kids, but you never see them, kids are raised by the minimum wage daycare workers?

I'll forget all about President Obama cutting Unemployment in half, tripping the DOW and Saving the US Auto Industry.

It's not about partisanship.


Frankly, I don't a rats ass. I'm not a D or an R. I'm a K. I'm team Kevin Kohler. And I'll support whoever I think is most likely to best, most positively affect my life. And my life is most dictated by economics. The majority of my decisions come down to money, when you get right down to it.

Donald Trump is doing exactly what I expected him to. A lot of wheel spin, a lot of exploding heads, but maybe not as much destruction in DC as I'd hoped for. Course, he's still got the rest of his presidency to get wrecking.

Having followed the various discussions of late I suspect that we would only find that there is no consensus to be had on most policy issue goals.

There's very little "consensus" to be found regarding policy goals in Trump's own administration.

Economy and illegal immigration go hand and hand in my opinion. I don't know why the OP listed immigration as I don't think anyone is against legal immigration. What is missing is a smaller wiser government.
 
Stopping unwanted illegal & curbing legal Immigration, he's had a terrific start on that promise &
trashing all Obama's EO's which BO never could have gotten through congress is of great benefit to the
majority of thinkers here. Obama should have realized when you live by the pen you die by the pen.
Great job so far & it's only just the beginning!
