Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run... [W:17]

If Trump had never run, who would you have most likely supported?

Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run, who would you have most likely supported?

In the primaries. Presuming you would still have voted Republican.

Sanders.

Do those who didn't vote for him but are stuck with defending some of his policies and are also fairly rabidly anti-liberal get to participate?

Interesting that Mike Pence isn't even listed.;)

The words of a man with no ideology other than "liberals suck."

Please tell us why anyone should pay a lick of attention to a word that you spew onto this forum?

Someone who describes themselves as "rabidly anti-liberal" has about as much credence as a wet fart. That's not an ideology. That's simply spite.

Re: Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run...

I had been not very interested in politics for a long time, in fact had not voted in decades, but I likely would have voted for Sanders...he was always my #2 choice, and I said that I would reconsider if Sanders got the D nomination, which of course he did not, as I had expected, because Sanders is in my opinion a lifetime loser.

But I just might have voted for him. There is Zero chance I would have voted for anyone else.

That says a lot about you if you vote for people you consider losers.

I tend to take up lost causes on a regular basis......

Trump did run - and win - so your question is pointless

Probably either Bush or more probably Kasich. Either was better than Clinton.

Someone who cannot read the premise of an OP for understanding and not **** all over their thread has no standing to criticize everyone else. Sorry that my logical and fact-based posting bothers your liberal sensibilities so much. Perfect example of why I'm anti-liberal. Thanks.

Re: Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run...

Trump was never my first (or second or third) choice.

And, since you clearly believe you add something valuable here, what is your general view of Trump voters, every single one? Curious to see if you'd lie or actually be honest. My prediction is you just won't answer that at all.

There's a topic; let's focus on that and keep the personal stuff out of this

I didn't vote for Trump (or Clinton) so had the Republicans put forth a less obnoxious candidate, I probably would have voted for them. Especially John Kasich so he gets my vote here.

Morons who have inflicted a historically bad president on this nation.

I'll pick on your post even though you're hardly the only one who didn't read or didn't understand the OP.

Clinton didn't and couldn't run in the Republican primary. She isn't relevant to the OP's question.

Maybe if I rephrase his question you and everyone else who didn't understand will understand.

Pretend the Republican primaries did not contain the name "Donald Trump" anywhere on the ballot. Which of the other Republican names on the Republican ballot would you have likely supported so the end result was that person would possibly be the Republican nominee for President in 2016?

The OP was even gracious enough to provide all of you with some of the other names that were on the Republican ballot. Presumably the "Other" selection would be one of the many names he didn't have the room to list, including people like Lindsey Graham and George Pataki and Mike Huckabee and the others.

Come on, people. This isn't hard.

I think I love you right now.

Yes, this was precisely it. I didn't think it was that hard. But then, there was some willful obtuseness going on, too.

Polls are limited to 10 options, and there were too many names to list them all, so I left off what I thought were some of the "also rans", the ones who you would look at wonder why they're even bothering.

As far as my answer, I didn't vote for Trump, but my first choice out of anybody in either party was Rubio first, then Kasich after he dropped out. I couldn't take Johnson seriously as a Libertarian candidate.

What difference does it make now?

The issues that matter are Obamacare, Illegal aliens, the economy, trade, the budget, rebuilding our infastructure and the war against islamic terrorists

Thats a more useful less-than-ten list if you ask me

It's just a discussion. Nothing more, nothing less. If you don't want to partake, don't.

But you have partaken... twice. You're clearly more intrigued by the premise than you claim to be. If it is truly a waste of time, as you suggest, we won't see you in here again.

Oh! I had thought Bush and Kasich were Republicans. Good we talked about it.

;)
