Re: Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run...

Since you say that Sanders is a lifetime loser, get back to us in 19+ months after his Senate race.

West Virginians sure seemed to love him at his town hall down there .

He fills a chair and gets a podium but what did he ever accomplish after he was done being mayor?

Very very little.

Sanders has a shot at the democrat nomination in 2020 even though he will be very old

Re: Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run...

Christie took Rubio out in your debate. How coincidental Christie would be seeing trump today when two of Christie's aides were sentenced today .

Trust me, if it was legal for me to punch Christie in his bloated face for that stunt, I would have done it.

Watching Christie follow around Trump like a puppy, gazing adoringly at him like he wanted to massage him in hot oils, only to end up with a big old nothingburger in return for his efforts, made me laugh myself into a coma.

Re: Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run...

I had been not very interested in politics for a long time, in fact had not voted in decades, but I likely would have voted for Sanders...he was always my #2 choice, and I said that I would reconsider if Sanders got the D nomination, which of course he did not, as I had expected, because Sanders is in my opinion a lifetime loser.

But I just might have voted for him. There is Zero chance I would have voted for anyone else.

I am amazed at the number of people in my circle of acquaintances who voted for Trump that have said this. There must be two dozen at least. Trump literally pulled them into the voting booth for the first time since the 80's, and for some the first time ever.

In my case, it's the exact opposite. This is the first time in decades when I have not voted for president.

I thought both trump and christie showed a serious interest in drug addiction that seems to have gone SWOOSH right over the heads of the rabid trump haters

Re: Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run...

Pence didn't run.

Pence tested the waters for POTUS. He was deeply unpopular in IN when trump threw him a lifeline. IN's GOPs were glad to see him go with his reelection in trouble in 2016 .

Maybe Christie can get on board that Trump train just in time to go to jail with him.

The so-called journalists missed a lot, but this was somewhat regularly reported though it is in dispute.

I read a thing two days ago that stated that we are about 60 days away from definitive proof, as the post postmortems should be done by then, and this is one thing that they will for sure tell us.

Christie skated out of Bridgegate, but according to all my NJ Republican family members, his popularity ranks just one step above Ebola right now.

Sen. Sanders is only concerned with getting Democrats and like-minded people reelected in 2018. One cycle at a time .

You're forgetting the Veteran's bill Sanders got through working with McCain.

Beyond that, you can search for yourself .

How's the 2017 NJ election talk going, with Christie terminated ?

#2 Hit on Google "what has bernie sanders done in congress":

Sanders had big ideas but little impact on Capitol Hill
Democrats who worked with the Vermont senator say he contributed to the debate, but rarely forged actual legislation or left a significant imprint on it.

The proof is in the actions of trump/Bannon, not their fake interests, fake ads or fake words .

Not sure. I'm going to be in NJ visiting family later in April so I'll hopefully get the skinny then. My sister actually lives in the same town as Christie - he's a neighbor of hers. She can't stand the man (but she did vote for him because she's a Republican and he sortof is).

Re: Q for Trump voters: If Trump had never run...

Please continue to run with your anti-Sanders ball.

Only 46% of the 69 million Millenials voted compared to 69% of 69 million boomers in 2016 .

Giving up is probably a good call for you.

I never considered Donald Trump. He was never on my list, and was pretty unqualified show-boating con-man IMO. Every day since he has only been proving me right. But in hindsight these are the people I would have voted for based on my likability rating:

1 Jeb
2. Kasich
3. Cruz
4. Christie
5. Rubio
This is the cut off for me, and I would pickd a bunch of others if they ran and I would have voted for all of them over these bottom few listed here:
6. Fiorinia
7. Carson
8, Jindal
9. Paul- Paul is doing some thing right with the fighting the Trump Administration, but he's way, way too crazy for me to forgive him just yet. So he's still here at the bottom of the pile. One right can't fix the insanity, he has portrayed.

Sen. Paul doesn't forget threats either and he will be a sitting Senator in 2020, not running for reelection.

If trump runs again or makes it to 2020, he could easily get the strongest primary as an incumbent since Carter .

Giving up a good call for me--not until my last breath !

Yet pence tested the waters! Why was pence so unpopular as governor of Indiana ?

For me it is quite the opposite. As long as you have positions stick with them and not make a big fuss out of pointless fights over policy -or anything else for that matter- I can admire those politicians. Doesn't matter if you are a Rahm Emmanuel, Joe Biden, John McCain, or Mitt Romney. Don't try to pretend to be something you're not. I think Jeb and Romney got a lot of flack for barely trying and failing to appeal to the working class. How hypocritical has the GOP become that now Donald Trump is the leader of the party? Someone who lines his house with gold (in more ways than one ;) ) , and yet, claims to be one of us. Even Rand Paul has a leg up on Trump in that respect.

I totally got your "gold" joke. Also your quote, it's from the movie "Idiocracy" which is ironic because we're all living the movie right now!

Yes that quote should be the slogan of the Trump Administration. It sums it up perfectly, and it can be added to the list of alternative facts

This may just be the Trump effect talking here, but I think a lot of celebrities are going to run in 2020. If they don't then yes you may be right.
