Just as the title asks, should antifa be officially listed as a terrorist organization. They are the ones that in every left wing rally that have burned cars and buildings, attacked people, and even announce ahead of time of their attacks. They view violence as acceptable against people with differing viewpoints.
They meet the textbook definition of terrorism,
ter·ror·ism
ˈterəˌrizəm/Submit
noun
the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
Yet despite this and the fact they have been doing this worldwide for decades, the us antifa rising up was a recent thing with trump being elected. Antifa also stands at a wierd point to be labelled such, since even though it is an organization, it also is not. Antifa has no central leadership and is actually a bunch of smaller antifa groups who seem to have the same goals and methods.
Antifa has also had soldiers fighting in armed conflict, in ukraine. During the proxy war between ukraine and russia over crimea, antifa members from all over the world joined the fight to seperate crimea from russia. Currently they are being prosecuted by both russia and ukraine, and one of their goals is novo russia which aims to take the southern half of ukraine cutting them off from the ocean in order to create a new country.
edit: oops forgot poll, if you can move this thread-----that would be greeeaaat!
