Now that it has been established by testimony from both the FBI and the DOJ that there is no evidence whatsoever that the wiretaps occurred, should POTUS Trump publicly apologize for making the accusations?

trump does not have the ability to apologize to anyone for anything.

I want trump and his mouthpieces to continue to deny his libelous lies of felony charges against Obama for at least the next 19+ months .

Card carrying Trumpettes are reality challenged, it doesn't matter if there's no evidence, the lord king spoke and they hath believed.

No. I hate it when politicians give those fake, insincere apologies.

I agree with this in part, Trump does not apologize well on camera. He already apologized for the sexual misconduct allegations and that didn't go over so well either...

Clearly Emperor Cheeto the Tweeto apologizes to no one.

Maybe, but he should publicly acknowledge that he will pay the costs upfront the salaries of all the intelligence people that worked on this investigation. They aren't even calling it an investigation so I'm not sure what they qualify it as.

stop it; you're gonna cause all of the Trumpetters to experience exploding heads .......... think of the children .......

There are countless things he should apologize for, it doesn't mean he will.

Support your claims.

What about Investigators in Hawaii ... ?

Remember, Trump said there's lots of evidence ... or was that a LIE?

Didn't you watch the hearing today?
Yes.
Did you?

If the someone says they have not seen any evidence, that does not mean that none exists.
Only an absurdly partisan person would think it means none exists.

All you have to do is research that topic to find out, instead of going off-topic with it.

Find out what?

What topic are you talking about ...

Do you have information no one else does?

I quoted what you said did I not?
Then how in the world do you not understand what was being spoken about?

The Opposition was trying to make noise about Trump's Russian connections with no evidence so the President's response is perfectly appropriate.

Give Fox news something else to chatter about if you're listening with the sound off it looks like they're saying, "Go away Russian accusations go away go away Russian accusations..."

I'll be in Hawaii April 7th through the 17th ... I'll get beck to you on my findings

No, Trump definitely shouldn't apologize. There are so many ways around what Trump said.

Joe Biden could have ordered the wiretapping...
The DNI director could have ordered the wiretapping...
There could have been a blanket wiretapping request of everyone working under Trump...
There could have been an ordered wiretapping of one individual and then it simply spread to the entire Trump Tower.
All of Trump's US properties could have been under wiretapping...
etc...

We know that there were lots and lots of wiretapping going on. Trump absolutely should not apologize.

Of course he should. The question is "will he", and I suspect that answer is no.

Is the investigation over?

Yes.

Grasping for straws - hang on!

It is to the extent that the NSA and the FBI has shared their findings that there is no evidence that Trump's claim is true. And since Trump certainly didn't have evidence for his claim, it is almost certainly libelous in a legal sense. An apology is the least that Trump owes Obama.
