Extra credit: Will it hurt the Left?

I say yes and hopefully, it was always a strike in search of a cause...AKA extreme idiocy. Does not appear that much happened, or that anyone wants to talk about it. Even in the very Lefty Seattle

I have a feeling that every day is a day without a woman for you, Hawkeye.

The purpose of any demonstration is attention. You made a thread about it. Sounds like women 1, Hawkeye 0.

Did it ever occur to these people that throwing a parade or a party is way different than throwing a strike?

Cause it appears that the answer is "NO".

If you look at their twitter, it was a march for a basket for progressive wants (they titled as rights), quasi anti Zionism and anti Trump.
I was very poorly thought out and the history of their leaders is sketchy as hell.

Doubt it made much of a real impact.

I am a lover of women.

Where do you get off?

All women I work with were in attendance today.

Good info, thanks.

I don't think any peaceful protest that helps empower millions of people is a flop. It could hurt the left in the sense that it will continue to piss off people who are anti-feminist, but I think it is safe to say most of them weren't safely blue to being with.

That sounds awful. You have my sympathy.

No. My wife made me a nice dinner. No strike in this fambly.

I thought those on the left were not hostile towards gays?

You owe me a new keyboard. Salsa spit out over it makes an ungodly mess.

And you are somewhat wrong. The left is not hostile towards gays because they are gay. We can be hostile towards gays who we do not like. Seems like there is some Milo guy for example who has generated more than his share of hostility.

it was a pure joke but I find it funny that the left-which often screams "homophobia" far more than the right is just as quick to make insults based on that status as the right.

The hatred towards Milo from the left is not that he is gay. The hatred towards Ben Carson or Condi Rice from the Left is not due to their color. its due to the fact that they don't parrot the alleged party line that the left thinks blacks and gays should parrot.

These theatrical media gatherings will be about effective as the looneys who invaded the
Wisconsin statehouse were, trying to bring down Governor Scott Walker 3 times.

What does empower mean?

How are they different today than they were yesterday?

Same here. But as I said elsewhere, virtually everyone I work with is at least moderately conservative, so that's not surprising.

They're not. But you have to remember that everything that idiot liberals do is about the feels, not about the reals. These are irrational people who just want to feel good and couldn't care less if what they are protesting is realistic or worthwhile.
