Our president was up early this morning, mean tweeting Obama, accusing him of personally ordering the phones at Trump Tower be wire tapped, then calling his predecessor, "sick" and comparing him to Nixon and Joe McCarthy.

Will Trump or his staff come forward soon with their source of this information?

I think he'll just brush it off, and essentially lay the blame on the Breitbart article he read without mentioning their name. It will be like when he got all worked up and wanted to investigate voter fraud until he didn't.

The President cannot order wiretaps, it is Justice Dept. matter. It also requires a judge to see probable cause. Trump just admitted he is under investigation.

Warrants to tap into someone's phones in the course of a federal investigation would be sought by the Department of Justice, which conducts investigations independent of the White House and the President.
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, an independent and secretive federal court, is responsible for issuing surveillance warrants in cases concerning foreign intelligence. The FBI has been investigating contacts between Trump campaign advisers and Russians known to US intelligence, and that court would likely be the forum to petition for such a warrant.

What we know is one: Obama has said that BS, and two: Trump is an habitual liar. Trump's doing this on purpose again because he likes to stir up confusion in people to divert us from what he's up to. And right now, he's up to his neck in trouble, and it's not going to stop.

Well, no. There are reports, which have not been confirmed, that a FISA warrant was requested and issued that involved Trump businesses. So to say that it is established fact is untrue. Even if that report is true, it is almost entirely unlike what Trump alleged in the tweetstorm this morning. Nice try tho~

Doesn't matter. Trump's wild eyed low information supporters will still cling to their orange political messiah no matter what. Trump himself once said he could shoot someone in the middle of the street...and not lose his supporters. He knows his base.

My prediction? NSA was spying on everyone. Including Trump Tower. Obama was president when this came to pass. Ergo, Obama wire tapped Trump a tower.

I suspect that there will be continuing interest in the President's accusing his predecessor of criminal activity that goes much further than the Watergate break did. It is not a nice to know thing. We have to know.

Nothing has to be true. This is far removed from partisan politics into which category people seem to be shoving it. That is dangerously naive. One of the two has crossed a border into a region we had better not let the country go.

We do not know the truth but must get to the bottom of it independent of party affiliation.

He doesn't have proof. He's just being a troll.

Regarding Trump: Trump is furious that his success from his speech to congress was short-lived. Spoiled by Sessions recusing himself from the Trump team/Russian investigation against Trump's wishes. Trump is flailing around desperately trying to divert attention from himself to anything else. Early Saturday morning he decided the best course of action was to try to vilify Obama. Then, of course Trump thought it would be a good idea to begin picking on Arnold Schwarzenegger's bad ratings on his TV show. Trump is such a nut.

I just find it odd that you, among with many conservatives can simply turn on a dime like that when it's your guy making the accusations. The Russia scandal has had months of trickling evidence all pointing in one direction, clearly it deserves an investigation. This is a conspiracy theory started by a tweet with exactly zero evidence, even circumstantial to support it. Until we can get at least SOME kind of evidence there's no reason to launch an investigation every time Donald tweets, especially when you ignore real things.

The REALLY SAD part is, those that voted for Trump & those that continue to support Trump will just say these accusations by Trump against Obama are nothing, when in fact we all know that Trump is delusional, and mentally unstable, at best.

We allowed 25 percent of the populace to put him in power. Everyone knew or should have as a citizen known, what the man was. We are each and every one of us responsible. Complaining and mad mouthing is immature
