Didn't vote for Trump but the tactics and attitude of what used to be the far-left is now becoming mainstream left has pushed me to supporting him more and more, thinking he serves a bigger purpose than what I thought. I still don't like him much as a President and which someone else was pushing some of these reforms but in a more reasonable and comprehensive way.

The thing that's really pushed more to more support is the normalization of political violence by the left.

I don't know why you would support someone you don't like because the Democrats... just because. I hate Trump. I hate Hillary. If I was forced to pick a side, in an unconditional universe without variables like corruption and political dynasty, I agree more with Hillary's platform than Trump's. So, I would've voted for HRC over Trump. But, had I voted for HRC, I would've immediately opposed her, regardless of whatever activity was going on with the right. I would've opposed her because I oppose fracking and Wall St. I wouldn't start supporting her to spite the right.

I think you guys are blowing the left way out of proportion. The left is not some guerilla army wreaking havoc on innocent republicans. They're also not an organized force of paid opposition. I think the left is finally awakening to the duopoly and they're using their voices because Bernie Sanders campaign showed them they're not alone. Establishment Dems even told Bernie to tell his supporters to stop coming to their town halls. Blue or Red, corporatism is going down in this country.

Because his existence is bringing certain things to light that needed to happen.

How is it blown out of proportion? Rally after Trump rally during the campaign needed riot police to protect the event. College speaking events for conservatives, after speaking events are being attacked by mobs of brainwashed kids and their professors are right there next to them, in many cases.

Property is damaged and people are being assaulted. The media and the Democrats seem to condone the behavior and it's so normalized that a middle school teacher can feel safe enough not to lose her job to give an interview on national television where she is shown to commit assault and to support the use of political violence.

The ruckus town halls are organic. Has anyone stopped to think maybe this anger is justified? Not like when the Tea Party was up in arms because we elected Barack Obama. The Tea Party organized in anger of a person not a policy or idea. The idea that conservatives have of George Soros bussing people in shows the lengths that they are willing to go to protect their beliefs. Instead of acknowledging someone's opposing viewpoint they jump to conspiracy theory about paid protestors.

There's a difference between anger and normalizing violence as a political tool.

Have any of you seen that Trump is just a lying, weaseling, conniving, prejudiced old man grabbing the spotlight one last time yet?

Maybe the Russian stuff did it? Maybe it finally dawned on you that he defrauded American people in Trump University. Maybe the tax avoidance finally angered you when you filed your taxes this year. Maybe you saw how he paid lip service to draining the swamp, but rolls with the 1% by appointing Mnuchin and Cohn to run the economy. Maybe you fact checked him on a day to day basis and found that over half of what he says is false.

Have you seen the light?

You think it would flip back the other way, and many would ask do Democrats now realize that the mass media is fake & obliviously trying to brainwash you towards their views.
I mean can you imagine if the RNC did this to Obama less than a month into his office demanding he be impeached.. on fake news reports and allegations..

To me this simply proves that Democrats are brainwashed fools.

Mainstream media has always had a pro establishment bias. They're owned by 6 companies that have vested interests in keeping the status quo the way it is. Just look at their so-called progressives Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes. Mr. and Mrs. Million dollars who wag their finger at true progressives because their corporate bosses tell them to. They can't advocate for progressive policy because large multinational corporations do massive advertising on their network. So, a policy like single-payer would affect profits. Same thing with access oriented journalism. They're just pro-DC pro-establishment bias and every year their viewership is getting smaller. **** 'em. Trump's not actually for a free and fair press. Trump's just against negative coverage of him. If the MSM was abusing other people, Trump would not give a ****.

Meh

Obama bashed and banned another outlet for years and none really cared.

The funhouse mirror is everywhere. In the 80s there were 50 companies.

Consolidated power is dangerous.

I rarely get commentary from Fox News. I don't mind watching a smart liberal debating Sean Hannity or the Jon Stewart vs. Bill O'Reilly debate was pretty good. But, I get breaking news from reuters. If reuters reports on it I generally believe it. I get commentary from youtube. I like the Majority Report with Sam Seder. There was that famous quote about from LBJ about the Vietnam war too. "If I've lost Walter Cronkite then I've lost middle America." It's true. Back then they held a lot of power. But, all that changed with the internet.

1. The RNC is the Republican National Committee; the DNC is the Democratic National Committee. Please link to where the DNC has demanded Trump be impeached. I'll wait.
2. If you are trying to claim partisan media (or at least what you think is partisan media) didn't make impeachment cries, then yes, Michael Savage was calling for Obama's impeachment as early as March 2009, and other organizations (and politicians) quickly followed suit. So I don't need to imagine what it would be like if it happened, since it did.

To me this simply proves that Democrats are brainwashed fools.

You seem nice.

It's not technically a debate when one side offers a salient point to challenge and the other side offers a clown show.

Sliding up and down on a crane and shouting bs is not a great argument.

You are referring to Sean Hannity, right?

Who is that?

He wasn't in the clown show called a debate between orielly and Stewart in any event.

Oh, ok. Yeah, it's been years since I saw that debate. I'd actually like to revisit it. O'Reilly is an effective debater.
