Didn't vote for Trump but the tactics and attitude of what used to be the far-left is now becoming mainstream left has pushed me to supporting him more and more, thinking he serves a bigger purpose than what I thought. I still don't like him much as a President and which someone else was pushing some of these reforms but in a more reasonable and comprehensive way.
The thing that's really pushed more to more support is the normalization of political violence by the left.
I don't know why you would support someone you don't like because the Democrats... just because. I hate Trump. I hate Hillary. If I was forced to pick a side, in an unconditional universe without variables like corruption and political dynasty, I agree more with Hillary's platform than Trump's. So, I would've voted for HRC over Trump. But, had I voted for HRC, I would've immediately opposed her, regardless of whatever activity was going on with the right. I would've opposed her because I oppose fracking and Wall St. I wouldn't start supporting her to spite the right.
I think you guys are blowing the left way out of proportion. The left is not some guerilla army wreaking havoc on innocent republicans. They're also not an organized force of paid opposition. I think the left is finally awakening to the duopoly and they're using their voices because Bernie Sanders campaign showed them they're not alone. Establishment Dems even told Bernie to tell his supporters to stop coming to their town halls. Blue or Red, corporatism is going down in this country.
