There is probable cause that the Russians were helping Trump in the election and there is also the appearance of coordinating by Trump surrogates. The appearance of guilt justifies the investigation by a SP.

There is no appearance that Trump did anything wrong. As for what some people imagine the Russians did we have been through it already. A special prosecutor is for if we think TRUMP did something wrong.

There is zip evidence of that.

Don't you want to know what Trumps people were saying when they had all those "contacts" with Russian agents? What do you think the purpose of those contacts was? We already know that Russia hacked the DNC and Russian troglodytes planted fake news to hurt Hillary. What we don't know for sure is whether Trumps campaign knew and were coordinating with the Russians. The evidence so far is not reassuring.

What probable cause is that? The evidence that we have not seen yet because it's "classified" and revealing it would allegedly reveal methods used to get that "info"?

The truth must be discovered.... ALL of the truth. And to do that, nobody associated with the campaign or administration can be involved since it is in their interests to bury and proof of Trump and Russian collusion.

And a lot of people in the intelligence community are Obama appointees IE Trump's enemy. If there was any credible evidence then it would have been released on day one.

The bottom line is you choose to believe Putin over our own intelligence services and you choose to ignore the "constant communications" with Russian operatives Trump team had during the campaign and your excuse is based strictly on blind partisanship. 17 US Int agencies state that Russia did interfere with the elections. In 2008, Trumps son stated that they (Trumps Companies) had significant investment from Russians.

I'm also starting to wonder which specific people are associated with those claims, and on what data, evidence, those claims are made.

Far, far, far too many loose accusation flying around DC these days, non of which seem to be particularly substantiated in fact, and most seem to be political ploys.

It has nothing to do with believing Putin. It has everything to do with evidence. So far no actual evidence has presented. Heck I bet right now you and ever other die hard anti-Trumper is mocking Trump for saying Obama had Trump tower wire tapped when you gladly accept claims of Russian interference in our election without any actual evidence.

IF there were any "there" there......we'd need a special prosecutor.

However, after months of allegations and accusations of Trump wrongdoing.......there is still zero evidence that anything even happened.

Thus.......much ado about nothing.
