I think most people understand that even having a "debt ceiling" is silly. My sense is that Republicans used the one lever they had to push Obama on the budget. I do think that our budget deficits are a negative for future growth and a burden for coming generations.
 
Imagine a world where not everyone is a conservative or a liberal, what a crazy thought.

Absolutely it should be raised, for the same reason it had to be raised when Obama was president.
