What does Trump mean when he says, "Make America Great Again"?
This slogan implies two things. One, America is not a great now as it once was. And two, it can be brought back to said greatness. Ok, fair enough.
Given Trump's penchant for vague statements that lack depth and detail, this being a prime example, which point in American history is he referring that he wants to bring us back to? Does anyone know? And what about said great era was so great?
I suppose it'll have to be your opinion, as he has left us wondering.
First we need to look @ Trump, his history, and his interests.
Trump is interested in business, real estate, making money, and of course himself.
The Trump campaign phrase 'Make America Great Again' was no doubt Trump's attempt at appealing to the emotions of voters that desire something from the past.
The problem is leaders have to move forward; governing is not IMO a concept of going backwards.
Trump wants to take America & the world backwards to a place we have already been, and on many levels that is a dangerous place to go IMO.
Since Trump has no experience in government service, no political experience, and no military experience, I expect that wherever direction Trump takes America & the world in it will no doubt end up being a HUGE 'train wreck.'
I voted 'some OTHER era' because I didn't see a choice for 'train wreck' ....... this one will be in our future ....... not our past ........
