So very true , showing that our people were ready for a Trump. I think the ''rate of progression" was too fast ..40% of us were not ready for minority advanced rights, Muslim rights , etc ..
Many (myself included) believe Trump was elected because of Obama. I suspect that liberals and conservatives disagree on the reasons why, but i suspect that most would agree that if Hillary had won in 2008 instead of Obama, Trump would have never been president. Just curious to see what the members here think.
The Clinton victory in the vote of the American people.
It is every bit as sound and logical as any other claim about where the 2.8 million votes came from that gave Clinton the popular vote win.
Every run counts the same as any other run no matter how it is scored or in what inning it is scored.
There we have it - the Clinton popular vote win.
The Clinton votes from California were calculated between her 30 million and 45 million mark.
There is no election for 49 states. It is a national election for the entire nation.
Trump has no lead. He lost the popular vote by over 2.8 million votes of the American people.
Trump's victory come according to the United States Constitution.
So what? That is not the way the Constitution says it works.
Only the last and winning run decides the game.
Up your meds.
I guess the answer to that would be kick Jerry Brown out and put in Hillary as president of California after California secedes from the union. Works for me.
IT depends on who it is. If somebody honestly asks me if I support so and so I normally will be happy to reply. If somebody I have engaged with many times and dark well has proven in the past that they are twisting and perverting my views - I will dig in my heels and take the hard line demanding they produce the views they claim I hold.
In this case its MasterPO in his post 152 as follows
The tone is insulting to begin with... bunny hopping.. leaving jelly beans ..... and then applies four different views to me. You want to take that sort of insulting tone - okay - so now prove your claims. That is my attitude and I feel it is warranted.
Why don't you supply a quote from Haymarket saying things for himself or else shut your piehole and let Haymarket speak for himself?
If Hillary had won in 2008, the last election would have probably been the second term of Mitt Romney

Yes he won because Obama was president. HE would have most likely also won if Clinton was president for 8 years instead of Obama.Your average voter isn't rock solid in their political beliefs. Nor is your average voter actually knowledgeable in politics. If you look at many past elections it would appear that voters in general swing like a clock pendulum. It seems in the past 100 years they vote for one party for 8 t0 12 years (with exception to Roosevelt and Truman who serve a total of 20 years) when they get sick of that party they vote for the other party. Clinton would have done the same **** as Obama and faced the same republican opposition, contrary to lib-tard belief republicans did not Oppose Obama because of his skin color. The only way Clinton being president instead of Obama would have contributed to Trump losing is if Democrats did not prop up someone as ****ty as Clinton.
Trump is a flip flopper and has had presidential ambitions for awhile(although when he first mentioned the idea of running for president he though Oprah Winfrey would make a good vie president) and says what he thinks will make him popular. Because before he jumped on the birther tard bandwagon he was praising Obama. Before he was running for president he was praising Clinton. He donated to many democrat and RINO republican candidates whose views contradict what he campaigned on.Before he was for the wall he said Mitt Romney was too tough on illegals. Considering the fact Clinton is an illegal alien ass kisser just as much as Obama, Trump probably would still be talking about a wall/I don't disagree entirely, but I think the rise of Trump started with the birther issue. Without that, as well as the whole "I'm going to build a wall" nonsense, Trump wouldn't have gone anywhere. I think a Hillary presidency from 2009-2017 would have led to a GOP president in 2017...just not Trump.
