That's not what that means.

Liberal tendencies =/ actual liberal.

So, that means you have liberal tendencies but don't support the majority of liberal views?

Hmm...let me read the links.

Oh Gee.

Another methodology to try to categorize and put people in a box.

As if we don't already have enough labels being throw about either to seek allies or dismiss arguments out of hand. :coffeepap:

Translation: I'm a hard pressed skeptic.

But you can't support economically conservative positions and socialism simultaneously. Because even without the involvement of authoritarianism, socialism is against economical freedom.

Your opinions are noted and discarded.

Here you can do the quiz to find out your political typology group.
Political Typology Quiz | Pew Research Center

Impossible to complete. Almost every question had more than one acceptable answer, and those would depend on specific circumstances that are not covered by the quiz.
I didn't find the website very useful. It tends to mix up personal preferences and personality types with political ideologies.

For instance, I am neither a "steadfast conservative" or "business conservative". I am simply Conservative, with a capital C to denote the ideology of Conservatism, rather than a person who happens to have a conservative view. The quiz does not take that into account, and it is very noticeable when attempting to complete it.

I got Young Outsider.

This relatively young, largely independent group holds a mix of conservative and liberal views. And while more lean toward the Republican Party than the Democratic Party, Young Outsiders generally express unfavorable opinions of both major parties. They are largely skeptical of activist government, as a substantial majority views government as wasteful and inefficient. Yet many diverge from the two conservative typology groups – Steadfast Conservatives and Business Conservatives – in their strong support for the environment and many liberal social policies. Compare groups on key issues.

Young outsider comes the closest for me - except the young part.
