What are they striking over this time?

I think it's still just the idea that the candidate they wanted to win, didn't.
Or the candidate that they feared the most, won. (either/or)

I've yet to hear any kind of detailed, specific item these people are striking over.

A protest without a specific focus is just wasted time.

Women just not showing up for work doesn't seem like a well thought-out plan.

I look forward to the 8th just to see if anyone I know decides to "strike".

Is that because you're "striking", or because you'd be home that day regardless of whatever else is going on in the country?

It's because I do what I want.

I will be there, protesting in Boston, oh, and I work and pay taxes too!!

Behind every president except James Buchanan there was women somewhere behind the scenes, some were very influential in the presidential decision making process, in a couple cases like FDR and JFK there may have been a couple. So I had to vote other.

Did you read my signature, it will answer your question.

Have a great day

So you're protesting simply because you don't like Trump as a person?

And you expect that to accomplish what exactly?

You don't get it all do you? My grandmother was a suffragette, I am supporting, and honoring her.

I get the expected point, but I still see this as counterproductive.

Kind of like protesting and blocking a bridge... all it's going to do is piss people off and make them think badly of your cause. You don't win the hearts and minds of people by annoying them.

What are you hoping will change, or happen after March 8th?

From the article:

Ummm, what happened?

As best I can tell it proved nothing, accomplished nothing, and generally failed.

March 8th? Hell, in my job that's years down the road; in dog years. I can't plan that far ahead.

So the only no vote is a guy.

I am not currently employed  ........ I am semi retired but I am seeking employment but not aggressively :2wave:

I have a lot of cigars that need to be smoked, which is time consuming ;) & it's gonna B convertible weather here B4 long too

will I be working on March 8? Ask me on March 7 :2razz:

You might want to contact one of the wind farm operators. I've heard they are looking for folks to monitor wind turbines, online.

So you're protesting Trump talk about a well known fact that certain women throw themselves at famous men? You do realize that women that throw themselves at famous men do allow these men to do just about anything to them, right?

So, you'll lose a days pay over a stupid comment made years ago? Sounds reasonable

I thought the complaint was about equal pay for women. You know, the thing that has been illegal since 1963.

General strikes are getting this much attention three weeks before they even happen? Nice.

Me, personally, I probably won't be participating, but that's just for personal reasons.

See my previous post, that is why I am protesting, if its any of your buisness.

You do know your so far off the mark, your assumptions are just that
