He had to Resign.
If he was "fired" he could have Outed the whole Trump Campaign, for whom we was always operating.
This has yet to be investigated fully.

I think he resigned, covering for Trump. Trump remains secretive with his true dealings with Putin.

The guy is at least Russian bought traitor, OR part of a larger unholy deal to help Trumpov during the Campaign.
He is the worst kind of soldier/American.
