Judges are but jumped-up lawyers and it is the clear duty of all good citizens to attack lawyers at every opportunity. I am sure we can all agree on this very uncontroversial point. Can't we?

There is a difference between disagreeing with their decisions and attacking their intellect for it.

Straw man. Everyone disagrees with rulings all the time and nobody disputes the right to do that. The problem is in the President disputing the right of courts to make rulings, as well as attacking the personal motives of the judges making the rulings.

It's the difference between me saying "I disagree with your argument" versus "You don't have the right to make your argument and you're a dildo-head."

There is a difference between disagreeing with their decisions and attacking their intellect for it.

Beat me to it.

No, No, No... Liberal judges are gods. They are infallible, and should never be questioned. The only real question, is about how fast we should fall to one knee and genuflect.

Did you leftist kept spewing but corporations aren't people(even though they are a group of people),somehow implying that those judges were idiots?

Of course some people spewed and implied that judges are idiot. Difference is, they're not POTUS.

I expect our POTUS to have some respect for the institutions that he has sworn an oath to uphold.

I guess you don't.

Disagree.

Insulting them like that is completely unnecessary and counterproductive.

Attacking the Judiciary from his position show his lack of decorum. Watched him a few minutes ago, stating the terror threat was significant, and he was a whole lot smarter in the last 2 weeks, and that the American public were unaware of how significant the threat was.
Guess the Senate sub committees will be quite interested as to why they were not briefed.

Except that, that's not what's going on.

Trump is attacking the independence of the judiciary, not the decision itself.

Spicer said one of the judges "went rogue", basically stating the judiciary is there to approve the whims of the administration.

That's a frightening idea.

Though, I agree that the lower court's decision is wrong headed, the President should be respectful of the judiciary. Trump is no longer a private person and should act accordingly.

Doesn't really matter what decision this court hands down it will go to the US Supreme Court....The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has the highest overturned court decisions of all the circuit courts in the US.

And a difference between the President and some random person on the street.

Or not...

That's the system at work. Federal judges afraid to challenge a presidential order would be the system broken down.

Did Obama disrespect the Texas judge that overturned the illegal alien protection EO? I guess he did when his justice department appealed the judges' decision to the next higher court.

On what legal grounds would that challenge be based on? Besides partisan politics that this circuit court has shown many times and had overturned in the past? The actual law on the books favors the President right to ban anyone posing a potential threat to US citizens.

A couple Federal judges disagree. If you think a Federal judge makes decisions based on partisan politics (I thought the Washington guy was a Bush appointment anyway?) then you must have the same low opinion of America that Trump has.

Not sure what you are getting at but I don't think myself or Trump has a low opinion of America....your post is more evidence that liberals who can't seem to get over Hillary losing and are basically dishonest about it.

The fact is and I know you are having a hard time with this, but the laws on the books favor the President right to ban anyone who poses a threat to US Citizens.

How about attacking their personal integrity, instead? I don't doubt the intellect of this district court judge in Washington. It is his dishonesty I object to--he does not give a damn about the Constitution or the rule of law, but only his personal preference.

Don't confuse me with someone else. My contempt for Clinton was just barely less than my contempt for Trump. And going by what Trump says about America, about the judiciary system and the media and the intelligence services and the electoral system and how Putin doesn't look so evil compared to America, yes, he has a low opinion of your country.

I believe you pissing up the wrong rope....don't you have a lot of problems in Canada....like lack of free speech, failing health care system and terrorist attacks and a prime Minister, whom it sounds like to me, no one likes.....
