Boycotting Budweiser

It's not the worst beer, but on the rare occasions I drink beer I prefer something better, like Modelo Especial or RJ Rockers.

So I can't really boycott them any more than I can boycott Starbucks. Come to think of it I rarely ever do boycotts anyway.

No, but I liked it a lot better when it was an American company.

Since Budweiser had an ad that cast immigration in a positive light, Trump supporters are now boycotting (of course). Are you?

By the way, I think they should boycott all companies started by immigrants or the descendants of immigrants since that's their stance. And they should prove their patriotism by NOT voting for Trump in 2020. After all, his immigrant ancestors were also successful at business.

I've been boycotting Buttwiper for decades.

I don't drink Bud because it is crap. But, I piss off the crazy right even more...I drink Dos Equis.:lamo

Except for Steve Bannon.

WTF are you talking about?? Bannon's mother's maiden name is Herr. He probably would have no problem with the commercial.

Uh...why?

Because when the laws are written contrary to how humans have agreed to live then the one who writes the law is wrong. I have never met one person who believes that an 18 YO should not be allowed by law to have a glass of wine or a beer.

Which means that the government is out of control.

TRUMP is the remedy.

Makes me want a Bud.

Ya, that is a whole nother thing, this insane hostility to letting the unneeded little folk chill out to Mary Jane.

She is mighty fine.

I very rarely drink beer, but when I do, it has never been Budweiser.

Weird. I've met plenty of people who believe that.

But regardless, the law hasn't stopped me. ;)

Liberals have. However, it was a poster's claim that boycotts are the exclusive province of liberals. Which is patently absurd.

Well, Libbos are damn quick to boycott something, over nothing.

boycotting them for a decade atleast. life is too short for **** beer

I didn't mind the commercial. In fact I welcomed it because many of the old German beers in the US are bought out by foreign companies and one of them was Anheuser-Busch who was bought by InBev. It's a commercial not about immigration itself but to remind Americans it's America's beer. Not that the left got that. For the last year it's been a campaign of the "America Beer".

Now I won't drink it unless I have too. When I lived in Europe.. I found Irish love Budweiser beers and even Germans.. because it wasn't heavy so they could have a session. But I grew up in PA and I am loyal to Yuengling. Yuengling and Sam Adams is the last two American owned Brewers.

Yuegnling endorsed Trump.

As a St. Louisian it was always my cheap beer of choice in college. Haven't had it much lately. I actually really liked the commercial, but it won't affect my purchasing habits.

Is option 4 like "No, ya poofters" or is it "No poofters allowed?"

Anyway, I've tried boycotting beer but it's so hard.

Where's the I don't drink alcohol option?
