I have not been posting much lately but even so I do stop into read every day. So I would say I was about a 4.

A big thanks to RedA, who I know worked really hard on this.

Yes, funny, how productive I've been the last couple of days. :mrgreen:

I enjoyed the break, but became a little anxious when I read the tweets today.

On the bright side, the sports spammers couldn't spam all Sunday and missed the Super Bowl. :mrgreen:

I missed it a bit, but I moved on...

And I ended up creating a twitter account in the process of watching the events via that platform, so...good, I guess?
 
I missed DP a 4. Glad to see it back up and know the task was monumental. Good job. I like chatting politics. It's mind expanding.

I said a 2 only because I usually have more to do than I will ever get done. I kept checking the site and moving on to my own problems. I actually got a great nights sleep. I usually wake in the middle of the night and check the site. Then before I know it morning has arrived and much needed sleep has become a pipe dream.
 
I have other board options, but it is good having DP back up and running :yes:
 
I certainly missed checking in every day and seeing what friends and people I respect had to say about the topics of the day and was beginning to wonder whether or not the site would ever actually reappear or just end, poof. DP has become a bit of computer "comfort food" for me and a regular habit, so I'm certainly glad it's risen like the phoenix to bigger and better things.

But, really, it was basically like being suspended, as some of us can attest, and I didn't miss wading through the troll posts, so all in all it was a nice break but I'm definitely glad you're back in business. Thanks to Red and all the gang for all the efforts you put into making this the terrific site it is.

I was going through withdraws.

Living in a Spanish speaking country, this is how I keep my English in practice.

I even signed up for a new board, but didn't post anything.

I have put a lot of time into this board and I know who to ignore.

I didn't want to start that procedure all over again.
 
Even as a Noob, not having DP took me out of my comfort zone and in search of alternatives. I noted DP similarities with the PF site and a few of DP regulars at PF. I concluded DP sets the standard that PF aspires to.

Back before Obama won in 2008, I spent oodles of hours on a forum provided by my local newspaper. One day, the paper without notice deleted all the archived posts and changed the format. My interest in the new format quickly faded.

I have found a home at DP. Unless I become persona non grata, count on my meaningful participation and continued support (you can read between the words). My DP Jones Rating - 4

For reasons that can't be discussed here, I no longer donate to the site, which is a pity.

haha, I did that too but it just wasn't the same. The format was wack and the people were even wacker.
 
The withdrawals came on strong but I've recovered.

Got a load of stuff done that I'd been continuously putting off.

Hearing Red NOT posting 4-letter words on twitter was fun though. Even where I heard him well enough, admirable restraint.:mrgreen:
