I hate to tell delusional people that they are full of crap, but the facts are the facts, and the facts are that he banned refugees from 7 countries for 3 months until a vetting process could be developed. He did not ban Muslims. That is a lie promoted by liberal liars who cannot tolerate the truth in any way shape or form. There are 49 countries with majority Muslim population and only 7 of the most dangerous are even affected. If you are from Indonesia or Egypt, or any of the other 42 Muslim countries that are not affected by the ban you are just as free to come and go as you were under Obama... who by the way banned all Iraqi refugee immigration in 2011.
So why was it OK for Obama, and not for Trump?

They vote for his political enemies overwhelmingly, and once here any kids they have become citizens. Also his own base hates them. So yes, this is true obviously, and i hardly needed his past statements or Guiliani's confession to tell me so. This is exactly like Nixon's war on negros/drugs. The only thing i didn't see coming was he excluded Saudi and Egypt, because i didn't know he had business interests there.

Donald Trump clearly wants to prohibit Muslim's from entering the US, at least for a moment.

However, there's a big difference between what Donald Trump personally wants & what Donald Trump can effectively do. Perhaps his advisers pointed out that a ban based on faith alone would be 100% unconstitutional. Therefor, Trump chose the middle ground & banned people from certain Muslim countries, known for their terrorism ties.

Has Trump explicitly stated that he wants to ban all Muslims from entering the country? Yes.
Has he signed an EO banning Muslims from entering the country? No.

I don't know if offense is the right word. I think derision is more accurate and I don't think that necessarily has to be just Christians, though we are the ones who would most likely react to it.

I think "ban" implies permanence. Do you believe Trump supports a permanent ban on all Muslims? What do you mean "stump for Trump"? If someone feels he's being mischaracterized in some way, or that what's being said is inaccurate, you'd prefer they keep that to themselves?

I know he called for a Muslim ban when he was campaigning, so unless he was lying then, my answer would have to be "yes he wants to ban Muslim from entering the US".

That said, his EO wasn't technically a Muslim ban, so as of today, he hasn't lived up to his promise of a Muslim ban.
