Is Trump's wall going to be better than Pink Floyd's?

I prefer Pink Floyd's wall. Although Trump probably agrees with some of the Pink Floyd philosophy - "We don't need no education"....
 
There is no way ANY wall, no matter how grand and spectacular and the best wall, can be better than The Wall.

FUN FACT: I got to see Roger Waters perform The Wall live in Buffalo in 2012. It was amazing.

I have not seen the Hoover Dam but I have seen, being here in Panama, the magnificent American engineering accomplishment of our, formerly our, canal.

And isn't it still amazing, even after the O bomb a years, that in direct opposition of the Berlin Wall to keep people from escaping, that America must build a wall to keep others from getting in because they want to be there, be it illegally? A true monument to America it should be. I think we should build the most wonderful and beautiful wall possible.

Eighth Wonder of the World wonderful. Why not? Hell, if we could waste almost a trillion $$$ with the past stimulus [where did all that go again?], why not build something that lasts and actually does something?

Not sure what role the stimulus had in bringing the US out of a very bad economic depression in 2009, but you can't argue with the results, which probably saved the US multiple trillions $$$. I took advantage of renewable energy stimuli, as did many Americans.

Not gonna argue the stimulus this thread, have in other threads, but most of the money was squandered and we, the American people and our posterity, are saddled with basically another trillion in debt to be paid.

So I do not really appreciate that while you were able to take advantage, all the rest of us are left holding an empty bag for which we gave a ton of money. That does not help but hinders us.

Stinks.

Well of course he has a name; I meant that he wasn't a recognizable guy to most people who don't know session guitarists. I had no idea who he was until I looked it up.

My wife, hands down, would have voted for Pink Floyd's Wall, but she has yet to put up her first DP post. Trump's Magnificent Wall becomes the #2 Wonder of the World, behind the obvious #1 Wonder, the one, the only Donald "The Greatest" Trump himself!




Disclosure- I do not support President Trump. I do not expect him to complete his term.

I don't want to argue the stimulus on this thread, but since you brought it up - Things were screwed up in a major-league, big-time --- a show-stopper, when Obama took office. Do you recall this? Can you state the facts? Something had to be done. At one point in his 8 years, Obama started running a budget surplus. The last time that happened was under Clinton/Gore.

I suggest you start examining the proposed spending of Donald Trump. This wall, not Pink Floyd's. Huge military spending increases. Corporate America is in a mode of "do more with less". Why can't Trump take this approach with the military? I would expect more from a corporate man.

I saw that, done in quadrophonic in an arena with banks of speakers at the four compass points that made sound fly around in circles. Big circular screen above the stage showing the video, stoned on MDA, that was as close as I've been to a religious experience.
