Will Trump Cuck his Supporters on DACA?

Trump ran on getting illegal immigrants out of the country (and then bringing the "great" ones back). Trump's supporters were enthusiastic to "finally" have someone who was "serious" about fixing illegal immigration, and it was his signature policy, in addition to being the one for which he derived his strongest supporters.


A handful of years ago, Trump met with a delegation of Dreamers (illegal aliens who the Obama administration attempted to effectively legalize, as they had been brought here as children) and told them "You've convinced me."

Will Trump keep / expand this Obama immigration policy? Or will he get rid of it and send those illegals packing, as he said he would?

I spent a good part of the primary and then a bit of the general being informed that I was one. Apparently it means "someone who supports a politician because the politician claims he will do "X", when in fact the politician will not do "X".

Unlike Trump, who was, of course, a paragon of Truth Telling It Like It Is, and who Was Beholden To Nobody, and could therefore Be Trusted To SOMETHING SOMETHING* WALL and SOMETHING SOMETHING* IMMIGRANTS.




*"something", oddly, was usually the individuals' own preferences. It's almost as if they were projecting.

As gullible as Obama's supporters are/were (doe-eyed liberals), I think Trump's are even more gullible (angry, frustrated, white, conservative males who primarily live in the sticks).

And I would bet a lot of money that Trump knows it.

One thing he is...a great salesman to a particular though large segment of the population.

He has got them by the balls...and now their hearts and minds will follow.

If you thought Obamabots were loyal...you ain't seem nothing yet, IMO.

Given the way Priebus and Spicer have responded to that question makes me think that they will eventually repeal it. It could be that they have yet to determine what they are going to do about it but there is something about the way they avoid the question that makes it seem like they will.

At first glance I thought this might be a thread with some interesting thoughts on the subject.

It was quickly obvious it is nothing but a dog whistle for the alt-left terrorized by a future without a nanny to tell them what to do and think.

I believe that it is short for cuckold (guey in Spanish). A man that sees other men doing his wife and does nothing about it.
