Do you own a *****hat? Does your *****hat make you feel empowered? Did you march this weekend?

So they marched against Trump this weekend, for women's rights. But it seemed unclear what right(s) they think they lost. None of my females friends supported the march or thought it made sense. They were all wearing this pink hat.
Every movement needs iconic imagery and sloganry to coalesce around.
This hat is a bit dubious, IMO.
However - if their point is to stick-it to Trump, it is effective in that it's a reminder of the man's narcissistic gutter entitlement values displayed in that iconic video.
I disagree. They appeared to be flailing around all weekend, having Hollywood put their most outlandish on display.
I think the way the march is perceived depends on one's political bias.
true enough-I was having my car serviced this morning and read a few articles in the local paper about the march-apparently there was a litmus test -those marching had to be pro-abortion rights to be there. Interesting

Well, I think the sheer magnitude of the anti-Trump demonstrations was startling. We saw how flustered Trump's team was in trying in vain to flip-the-scales-back when the demonstration crowd size exceeded that of his inauguration.I disagree. Not any dumber than the tri-corner hats and other nonsensical garb the teabaggers used to wear. I would not want to be caught dead in any of it, but thanks to the 1st amendment, others can.
Yep, I agree, and the T-Party imagery came to mind foremost - even though I didnt post it.Not any dumber than the tri-corner hats and other nonsensical garb the teabaggers used to wear. I would not want to be caught dead in any of it, but thanks to the 1st amendment, others can.
One of my sisters did the march in Philly with her husband. She didn't have a hat. Based on the pics she sent most of the people there weren't wearing them, so your statement "they were all wearing this pink hat" is false.
Right.that they came out in opposition to tRump in numbers FAR greater than those who came out in support of tRump the previous day, sent a very strong signal to the nation's population ... and hopefully, to the tRump administration, itself
At least youre consistent. *****hat is basically the same thing as calling someone a teabagger. The left cant make serious arguments, so they have to resort to gimmicks and names.

She didn't have true ***** power if she wasn't wearing one.
