Is Trump out of his element?

What will happen during Trump's first term?

someone who really would try to rape the wealth of the top one percent isn't going to win the presidency any time soon.

Someone who would work for a system that was fair for everyone would have crushed Trump if not for the corruption of the Dems. Once the boomers die off en masse and Gen X'ers and Millenials are in position, some boomer heads are going to roll.

that's assuming the Xrs and the Millenials will all remain indulgent dependent snowflakes and won't ever grow up

Unfortunately the silk diaper 1%rs that think their welfare is the result of their hard work may never grow up and will likely take that ignorance to their crystalline death.

people tend to grow up and mature. That hurts the Democrat message with older Americans

Unfortunately, many of those over 55 checked out from reality years ago and don't realize the world is very different now than it was back when all one had to do was work hard and a decent life was almost guaranteed to follow. They comfort themselves with false generalizations that they are a hardier bunch that made their own luck, rather than the got lucky and won the lottery offspring of the greatest generation. Some X'ers and Millenials will likely be the next greatest generation as they learned the hard way the game is rigged and for them to be successful they're going to have to fight for it, but this time not on the battlefield.

So, "Is Trump out of his element?"

I think every president that's been elected to the office of president of the US is out of their element, at least initially.
It's a very big job, that comes with very big responsibilities, and a great deal of gravitas, and I don't think that any newly elected president in immediately 'in' in their element.

So that doesn't really matter, being initially out of their element.

What really matters is how quick the new president can adapt to this foreign, alien, situation, and how well they adapt to it, and yet effectively leads the executive branch, and the nation.

Are you kidding me? This is a guy who's biggest concern was getting the Apprentice renewed.
