Is Trump More Cowardly Than Obama?

Is Trump more of a chicken than Obama?

uh why was it Trump making the decision-last time I checked, Obama is still president
DING DING DING!

Folks keep acting like Trump has all of this power.... he isn't President yet.

What did our CURRENT President do for this situation... that is what I am more interested in at the moment.
Swiiiiiing and a miss!

Reaction can be gauged without a decision being made. It would be a pre-emptive testing of the Trump waters. Chances are that China wasn't seeking an actual confrontation, just checking to see how the next President will react so they have a better idea how to act once he is inaugurated.

Obama is already yesterday's news, and as such it wasn't about him or anything serious or real anyway, as evidenced by China giving up so quickly. Once Trump is in office, watch for China to be more overt and aggressive, even more than with Obama, and especially where their territorial claims in the South China Sea are concerned, and you'll be able to trace it back to this test.

Nice try, though.

Im asking you. Do you think its okay for them to keep the drone?

thought i made this clear. my mistake. of course they should keep it. they found it fair and square.

The Chinese didnt find it, they sneaked up from behind and stole it. I guess you dont have a problem with people coming up from behind you and taking your wallet either. Very charitable of you.

Trump has been up China's butt this entire election cycle. This is just a continuation.

IMO, China is dreading dealing with Trump and will be forced to use other tactics.

Yea, with his checkbook, kissing their ass.

Trump is an unpresidented moron.

So you are judging Trump's ability to do stuff as a leader by what he does in a situation where he has no authority in the first place?

He. Has. No. Authority. Yet.

He can't take any action. He can't do ****.

One thing Trump has made clear is that he says some stuff, people don't believe it and don't take him seriously, and then it turns out he was right. He also usually has a reason for the actions he takes.....

I think you are trying to make something out of this that it isn't.... evidence by the fact that you have made up this scenario in which you claim China is testing him.... based off.... what exactly? Oh, thats right... a scenario that fits your narrative perfectly.

He has his personality and his knowledge (or, lack of), and that applies before and after inauguration. The fatal flaw in your reasoning is that you tell yourself it's about the drone. The drone is most likely just a pretext.

To be honest, your apparent naive belief that China has the forethought of a goldfish doesn't say much for your discerning faculties, either. Talk about fitting one's own narrative, you're just being a mindless apologist.

Sort of hard to measure bravery or cowardice in a President. After all, it isn't like they would be the ones facing combat personally.

Trump is far from stupid and only dangerous for the Left and other enemies of America.

Yea, he is an illiterate ****ing moron - which is unpresidented.

thought i made this clear. my mistake. of course they should keep it. they found it fair and square.

They just wanted to open it up to see "Made in China" on all of the components.

It has occurred to me that the Chinese did this solely to test Trump and his reaction. I believe that is why they didn't make a huge deal out if it and offered to give the drone back so quickly and easily.

I have no proof of this, of course, it's just a suspicion.

I do think Trump's reaction showed that he has no idea what he's getting into. He's still winging it, and the Chinese now know this.

I would like to know what the US is giving China to get the drone back.

Eww, Daddy, this tastes like Gramma!

What a great line.

With an imagination like that, you should write.

Let's give China Trump for the drone.

LOL its a Ralph Wiggum quote.

Trump is the second coming of Reagan when it comes to strength and weakness.

He'll talk a big game and get the idiots who do not comprehend true strength to believe he's tough, but when the **** hits the fan like it did in Beirut in 1983 when 241 US Marines and Sailors were blown up in a terrorist attack, Trump will react like Reagan: Run away like a little bitch and invade some small Caribbean nation to distract the dumb ****s from his own cowardly bull****. Oh, and then he'll probably sell weapons to the perpetrators of the violence.

We've already seen him doing it. When an American citizen shot up a Florida nightclub slaughtering 50+ people (analogous to Beirut), the cowardly little bitch blamed immigrants and started his tough talk against refugees (invading Greneda) instead of trying to address the real problem And it made the dumb ****s soooooo happy.

The problem is, too many people don't understand what real strength is. They were the people who hung around with the bully thinking he was "tough". They confuse a weak, insecure little ***** who only picks on those weaker than him with a person with true strength. This is because they are weak. They do not realize their own incompetence, though, so they assume that other weak ****s like them are also strong. In other words, it's Dunning-Kruger applied to the idea of being "tough" or "strong".

Obama has taught Trump how to play chess, and one of those lessons is that Trump cannot just tweet his way out of a diplomatic problem.

Meanwhile, China is ruled by chess grandmasters. I have no doubt that even as we speak, they are running through every possible scenario of how to check Trump and the power of the United States of America. This should be an exciting four years, folks!

So Trump calls out the Chinese (on twitter) after they steal a drone belonging to the USN. But right after there is news that the Chinese will return the drone,Trump tweets that it's okay for them to keep it.

Many people voted for Trump because they thought Obama was weak. But doesn't Trump's recent actions reveal that he is even weaker than Obama?

Wait. They stole the drone. That was correct. Then he found out they were going to return it? Okay. He said keep it. We have to assume the technology's been compromised.

So what's your point?

I don't think it's so much a matter of the technology being compromised as it is a matter, or so I've read, of the technology being widely commercially available and related to things like monitoring water temperatures and salinity levels and things like that.

So not an "armed" drone or a "spy" drone but something any coastal weatherman would have somewhere in his stable.

Basically Trump's response is along the lines of, "Pffffttt. You think something trifling like that is going to ruffle my feathers. LULZ. Keep the damn drone you knuckleheads, come back and talk to me when you want to play in the big leagues."
