This was litigated in the election. There were lots of questions about his temperament, particularly his thinned-skinned narcissism. Apparently, too many voters either failed to comprehend the issue or just didn't care. The Electoral College exists to affirm or deny the results of the election, but few of the electors understand their roles, so its just a ceremonial body that will have its big shin-dig on Monday.

I'm afraid we just live with this defective President until such time that the Republicans realize what an embarrassment he is and try to impeach him to set up Pence for a ten year run as POTUS.

Translation: Too late, we had our chance. Now we just need to strap ourselves in, put on a crash helmet and hold on for dear life. Unlike an amusement park ride, there is no guarantee this will be a fun, much less safe.

Absolutely not. Should he be required to submit to that, you would also have to expect a full mental evaluation of EVERYONE who takes public office, and lets face it, you can name just about anyone who's had a televised campaign a pathological liar. While not a horrendous idea, it would need to be done PRIOR to the election, a month after the President-Elect is announced. While I'm not the biggest Trump fan on the planet, removing him now would leave Pence in charge. I prefer the Government stay out of anyone else's bedroom.

Look, Trump won. Get over it. Those of us who actually value individual freedom had to deal with Obama for 8 years. YOU. WILL. BE. OKAY.
 
How much punishment must leftists endure? Now you are hoping for a psych eval which proves he is crazy...and then the leftists have to live with knowing that on top of everything else they lost to a crazy person? How much losing can the left handle before they snap?

I picked other.I say yes for Trump being subjected to a psychiatric evaluation only if Clinton is being subjected to a combination narcoanalysis and lie detector tests.

Exactly Earthworm. I think every newcomer should undergo a psychiatric evaluation before they are allowed to post messages on Debate Politics. Perhaps you and I and a few others could form a vetting panel to determine if applicants match the required standard of sanity.

In the spirit of fairness, she did run while under a Federal Investigation, which alot of the right would be screaming about had she won. However, there definitely wouldn't be rioting in the streets yelling "not my president", nor this post election nonsense of trying to get a recount after the election was already ceded.

But she ran while under federal investigation of her own free will. Trump didn't run while under a psychiatric evaluation that said he was crazy. The left are a bunch of whiny crybabies.
