Who is the biggest threat to the US: ISIS or Russia?

Of the two, who is the biggest threat to the US: ISIS or Russia?

ISIS is waning and Russia just tainted our election. It's not even close.

The deadliest terror attack in human history occurred on U.S. soil, claiming thousands of lives and injuring thousands more. There have been other terror attacks on American soil since then. On the contrary, we have never been at open war with Russia, and Russia has never attacked us.

Not even close.

I don't get why the left wants to hate Russia so badly... They really aren't that bad anymore. Chill out.

main concern the USA should have right now is China.... then ISIS

Actually, China would have been a good 3rd option for the poll.

Currently.

ISIS is a weak terrorist group which is being attritiated into dust in Syria. Russia can kill millions of Americans fairly easily. How is this even a question?

Should add a neither option. Because neither of them are threats to the US. It's like asking whether a bee or a wasp is more dangerous to a human. Both can sting, sure. But they're nothing more than a nuisance.

The real danger to the US, is and always will be uneducated voters.

Yes, we are letting Syria and Russia deal with OUR real, and actually materialized, threat, ISIS, and so Russia somehow becomes the enemy that we should fear?

It's russia by far and it's not even close and I pick russia for one purs and logic reason. Ability and potential of threat. It's really this basic.

A.) If all of ISIS decided tomorrow to hurt america (they already have as far as I know) and they decided to attack? What happens?

B.) If all of Russia decided tomorrow to hurt america and they decided to attack, what happens?

I'm much more worried about the threat of B over A because of outcome.

What if I substitute the U.K. For Russia? See why it's a question now?

If all of America decides to attack tomorrow, what happens to Russia? That's the only question they ask themselves that puts them at odds with us. That's one of the things that I tolerate about Trump, he sees Russia as an opportunity rather than a threat. I mean really, who gains from a Russian-American war? No one, not even china. I see the Russian hacking more as a practical joke, rather than something they did with malice. They trolled us, we can get bitchy about it, but that solves nothing.

My post or thoughts on the matter have nothing to do with trump or any alleged things about russia and the elections. All that stuff is meaningless to me. If I'm sitting in a room with Mike Tyson and Peewee Herman it doesn't matter to me if Mike is my best friend and Peewee hates me. That threat may not be current, or likely etc but I still access Mike as the bigger threat. ;)

Now I know why my uncles invaded Russia, talk about a cutie. Phrases, oh I like that.

Why does the right want to like Russia so much? Putin envy.

Because Russia is a conservative man's dream. Seriously, if Canada is what liberals aspire to, Russia is what conservatives aspire to, as far as policy. Business owners can force employees to attend their church, gay people can't show affection in public, tax codes favor the wealthy oligarch class, just about everything is deregulated, and white men decide everything.

A conservatives dream.

My thoughts aren't identical, but similar. ISIS has the potential and desire to cause us physical harm now, and that's not good, but I think they're are limited and will eventually wane.

Russia, on the other hand, while not likely to attack us outright, is far more capable of causing negative impact... and negative impact doesn't have to be direct or physical... and will continue to do so for a long time.
