I guess this is the question for people with a very wide spectra of views. This is mostly about online experience, but offline experience is welcome.

It happens a lot with those who disagree with the radical right. The radical left just flames and and baits.

Actually, the radical left is more likely to engage in violence. Conservative speakers have been threatened and prevented from speaking at liberal colleges by leftwing thugs. I am unaware of leftwing speakers being subjected to the same nonsense. It makes sense because the leftwing mentality is far more similar to the criminal mentality than right wing views are

Flamed and insulted yes, but I do not consider that "attacked." You're not "attacked" unless it is a clear threat of physical violence. So I had a hard time picking the second option.

Which, BTW, is why I laugh every time I get called an "SJW." Puh-lease, I'm not even close to being some sort of a "warrior." At least not until I get my first death or rape threat, or some other threat of violence, on account of my views.
 
I have a Progressive friend who was threatened with murder on Facebook.

They also found her phone number and have called her.

yeah I know, but not always. there was a guy on a sports specific forum that I have been a member of for years. There is a classified section. One guy claimed another guy ripped him off. He made threats and they got worse and worse. The threatener was banned. We knew his identity. a bit later one of the mods-an IRS agent-posted an article where this guy had been charged with several counts of first degree murder and was facing a death sentence, he killed members of his own family. Now would he have carried out his threats against the other poster? who knows but he sure proved he was a psycho-killer.

LOL! Yes, in fact I continue to be attacked by partisans when I criticize Trump and when I criticize Hillary. **** 'em. It's never bothered me one way or the other.

I don't think I have ever been attacked online. The most I get is liberal bashing in response to my post, but nothing really personal about me in particular.

I am non partisan for a reason: I don't like either extreme.
