Is Trump Draining the Swamp?

Trump doesn't want to drain the swamp. He rules in the swamp Just watch , everyone he brings onlin will be swamp creatures.
All those poor gullible people who supported him on that basis will either try in vain to justify his actions or ignore the issue.

Since he is lacking in direct knowledge of the inner workings of governance, he is forced to surround himself with swamp people. What choice does he have? Who could not have seen this coming?

Of course many with IQs above and below 100 are suffering from disabilities. Many are the elderly and the chronically ill. Many are autistic.

Yes the average person can do well, they are average after all. People with a 90 IQ are borderline mentally disabled. There are many millions of them. They are not nearly as capable as you. Does that make them scum?

Not at all. where do you get such fanciful ideas?

Hey turtle man. YOUR boy WILL go down as the worst president of all time. One and done. Worse than 43. Enjoy the show. He's nothing, but a bigot, thief, womanizer and massive liar just to name a few. Hillary is gone. Old news. Your BOY will be under the microscope from here on out. He had better walk the straight and narrow. Impeachment is just over the horizon!

yeah yeah yeah, Hillary will win by a landslide, Texas will turn blue, Kaine will be VP, Democrats will take the Senate and probably the house. None of that stuff happened.

Trump won with 74 electoral votes (landslide), Pence is VP elect, Reps kept the Senate and house, Texas is still Red and we now have 33 governors that are Republican. Your former candidate is still under investigation by the FBI. Dems can't figure out who they want for the chair of the DNC, a white guy that sounds like he knows why Clinton failed, an African American Muslim that is pretty smart except he wants to continue on the same fail road the DNC has followed for the last four years, or the angry old white woman that should have been committed years ago. Obama's legacy is going to vaporize with the power of a phone and a pen. Mid terms are coming up in two years and there are 25 Dem occupied seats up for election in the house. Looks like you folks are kinda sucking hind teat. Maybe you should worry about your own house.

I am annoyed about Trump picking Jeff Sessions, though. That dude is gonna be a problematic blockade in the way of marijuana legalization. If Trump looks the other way and he goes after legal weed in the states, we're screwed.

Trump's position is to leave it up to the states to decide what they want to do.

my boy?.... i didn't even vote for him, but i am getting enjoyment out of watching people cry, moan, and go into a state of hysteria.

You are welcome.

statist crap-the side that says "you didn't built that" lost.
I pay more in taxes in a quarter than most americans will pay in years. So I don't know what you are whining about. Your existence does nothing to enhance my life and I owe you NOTHING. Your rights do not include a just claim on the wealth or time of others

:lamo Hahahahah you people still buy the Fox News version of "you didn't build that."

This is wonderful. Almost as wonderful as your insistence at the start of this thread that only Trump supporters can have valid criticisms of Trump. Let's flip that standard around to your post here. Did Obama supporters freak out over "you didn't build that?" No? Oh, well, I guess when hardcore Obama supporters criticize Obama, we can take note.

Just keep gloating if you want but Trump/Bannon has different ideas than you and he plans on ramming his plans thru Congress with Democratic help if need be. Ryan is in for a world of hurt if he resists. Get ready for a Trillion$ Stimulus and $10 minimum wage.

Even if we presume Trump wasn't accurately portraying the man's disability, the whole "spastic" actions are themselves an ableist attack.

The disability community, myself included, knew exactly what he was doing.

I am part of the physically disabled community and it didn't bother me a bit as he wasn't mocking disabled people, unless you are including stupid people. I'm just not looking for an excuse to demonize someone to support my political ideology.

For a guy who said he wouldn't work with lobbyists and who is now playing nice with the politicians he so insulted and creamed over in the primaries. Do you think Trump is doing a good job at draining the swamp, or is he just giving the little guys a leg up?

You are asking this question even before he is even sworn in?

What are expecting, him to fulfill all of his campaign promises in 11 days?

Ask this question FAIRLY 100 days after January 20th, 2017. Not now.

This question is not really fair, and also is not realistic.

I'm not gloating. I am pointing out the truth. You folks need to get your stuff together. Quit denying that they have a problem so they can start fixing it. I don't want two terms of Republicans controlling the House, Senate and presidency. Last time that happened we spent like there was no tomorrow. When the Democrats had two years of full control they did the same thing. There needs to be a balance and you folks are half of it.

Yeah buddy. Pretend that post was something other than ridicule. Big tough man above us all. Spent the last eight years bitching nonstop about Obama. Now people criticize Trump and apparently it just doesn't count because only Trump supporters can legitimately criticize Trump.

I'm glad we can just straight invalidate all of your posts regarding Obama. Seeing as you're just pissed that he got elected twice, you were gonna be mad no matter what he did.

Let's look at, say, Disney Dude's posts about Obama. Those will contain the only valid criticisms of Obama.

nice try there but the fact is I have credited Obama with some good things. Like his pardon of a prisoner whose case I knew about. Trump hasn't done anything yet in office so your sore losers who are mad Hillary lost need to wait a bit before your rants start. I wasn't screaming about Obama winning the election. The level of butthurt from many of the Hillary fluffing fan boys is hilarious-like whining about the electoral college.

While I do like that the poll options are just "Yes," and "No," without some ridiculous statement attached to each one, IMO we need "Neither" and "Too soon to tell" options. FFS, he hasn't even been sworn in, how can he get to work on what he promises in the way only a President can do - how can ANY president elect do that - if they are not yet sworn in, and in office?

And that has ...what to do with my post you quoted...?

He was speaking and not getting paid for it. "Free speech". Nobody said his post had to be intelligent. We get what we pay for.

Do you know that the average IQ is 100? 100 is just average intelligence, yet fully one half of all the people are below one hundred while one half is above. I would be willing to bet yours is above 110. Mine is too. Think about what that means for the 165 million people in this country who's IQs are 100 or below.

I haven't read through this thread, but if the number 165 has been linked back to my post #196, then it represents roughly the number of people in the U.S. with IQ equal or less than 100.....There are about 330,000,000 people and 165,000,000 is half of that. Those 165 million are to some degree mentally challenged relative the higher IQ half. Those with IQ of 90 or less, and there are many millions of them, will not have the capacity to take advantage the system in the same way those at 110 or above can....Used to be that an IQ less than 90 had a person termed a moron.....but really they are not that far from normal and they need lots of help..no matter how hard they may try, most will never succeed in a capitalistic environment...despite the demands of the conservatives among us.

Yes, you could say he's draining the swamp, and if you leave it right there that'd be technically correct... but not complete. He is also restocking the swamp.

My opinion is Congress is the swamp and only voters can drain the swamp. But, I won't vote no because it is just a partisan poll anti-Trump poll and I won't give you the satisfaction. What do you think the swamp actually is? Everyone has their own opinion. Until you can define what the swamp is, then there can't be a poll on it.

Well from all appearances (and nominations, hiring, and appointments), it seems he's filling the swamp and then emptying it.

If Congress is the swamp then so are the people who continually elect the people who fill the seats...The thing is everyone thinks the others state's representatives are the swamp, but not their own....I like my two Senators a lot..I voted for them because they want what I want....As yours probably reflect your wishes...If not get them voted out.

The problem is not the elected, it's the people who elect them.

I was agreeing with the first part you wrote but I do disagree with the last part. You can basically and realistically only vote for the people who show up on the ballot. If both parties only put swamp people on the ballot then you only have swamp people to vote for.
