I am annoyed about Trump picking Jeff Sessions, though. That dude is gonna be a problematic blockade in the way of marijuana legalization. If Trump looks the other way and he goes after legal weed in the states, we're screwed.

Never ever said she was great. Never. She made mistakes. However, to have this clown dragging all of his baggage to the presidency is a joke to our country. Like I said sit back and enjoy the show. One and done. Let me know how you feel in let's say 8 months from now.

so tell us, what objective arguments do you have against Trump that actually impact you. I see you showed up here the day after the election so we don't have any evidence of your positions before the election.

Needs a "too early to tell" option, 'cuz that's most likely.

However - by installing Reince Priebus as CoS, and then perhaps populating his administration with Wall Street bankers as per the article below, it does give me pause. Well, it's not like I didn't have a lot of Trump pause to begin with!

Now, he did appear to do a lobbyist purge and a 5 year moratorium, similar to Obama's, on his adminastration's revolving door.

So perhaps their is hope, but I'm not optimistic.

I'd rather they just legalize weed at the federal level. That would most certainly raise my approval of a Trump presidency significantly.

2) it should be a state level decision

3) we need to reign in the commerce clause

Actually, I was leaning towards Trump. But during the debates I had a change of heart. His bullying tactics turned me off. For one, he totally demoralized Jeb Bush. I never liked Jeb's politics, but still to embarrass someone the way he did and with millions watching? Sad. That told me this man will do and say anything to get elected. And he has. Another was when he mocked the disabled man in a wheelchair. My mother died in April and she was in a wheelchair the last 3 months of her life. His antics really hit home then. The Billy Bush video. The fake Trump University. Do you see where I'm coming from? Will he prove me wrong? I really don't think so.

Grow up and don't hand me a bunch of PC crap. Nip is short for Nippon or Nihon, and those terms are interchangeable with Japan. My older son is married to a Japanese girl. Jew is short for Jewish, and yet people of Hebrew descent are routinely referred to as Jews. Do you get all worked up over that? No. Instead, you equate Nip with kike and a host of other crap because that's where your mind typically goes. If you just want to be an asshole, that's fine with me, but don't presume to lecture me about something I know far more about than you obviously do, and I'm not running around just looking to be offended, as you seem to be.

Nip is a derogatory term for Japanese. None of your dodging can change that. I know what nip is short for and I also know that nigger is how uneducated people said negro. Chink is the same degree of derogatory as nip.

Just FYI, a 5 year lobbying ban isn't draining the swamp. As nothing in there says he can't hire lobbyists NOW! It just means they can't work for other people for five years after Trump leaves or is it five years, period?? ...

What? Are you living in WWII? I was married to a Native American. We're very close even now. I don't know where you get all this hypersensitivity, but I have to tell you my son refers to his wife as a Nip just like I affectionately referred to my wife as an Injun. Get over yourself and this holier than thou attitude. You're wasting it on me. You asked why Trump's daughter was in that meeting. Do you really thing anybody here at DP knows? I seriously doubt it, and I seriously doubt the Trump transition team has been asked that question or would necessarily respond to it if they were asked. She's part of the transition team.

It was a campaign slogan. The "swamp" mostly refers to Congress and, unfortunately, he can't drain that swamp. The voters have to do that and, unfortunately again, the parties rig the rules so that only party loyal Democrats and Republicans are the only ones running. As far as cabinet choices go, do we really want every governmental agency run by amateurs who don't know what they are doing?

My wife's Metis and I sure wouldn't refer to her or her family as 'Injuns'. That's not a term of affection here, whatever you guys down there think. And you didn't use the word 'nip' about the Prime Minister of Japan as a term of affection either- you used it as a racial slur, dodge and spin however you want.
I asked about Trump's daughter because earlier it was said that his kids were going to be looking after his business interests to avoid a perception of a conflict of interests.
Maybe she was just trying to sell him shoes or something.
