I'll say the same exact thing I said in that other thread: Some are, some aren't.

Your response is exactly the result of the poll at the beginning of this thread. What do you guys think of Ben Carson for Secretary of Sleep? Here's his resume:

I think those that are not taking the loss with class and maturity are in the minority. Unfortunately the media want to continue to cover the asinine protests. If they'd quit covering that most of them would go home. Recently I heard Mrs. Clinton say "keep fighting". Was she referring to the protesters or just democrats in general? I don't know but I do think she should publicly denounce the protests that are getting out of hand and interfering with peoples' personal lives and public infrastructure.

Regarding the protests, a friend made a great analogy> That most of the protesters are young, many are college students. Many of them are the age of people who were brought up in the "participation trophy" era. Meaning they went to schools where there were no losers in Phys. Ed. Everyone was a winner. They've never had that awful traumatic affect of actually losing a game of soccer or kickball. Many are too young for Senator Kerry's loss to GW to mean anything to them. They've never had to accept a traumatic loss until now and don't know how to deal with it. In other words, many of them just haven't grown up yet.

I think most people on the left are taking it well, although, many are super angry and/or scared. I think those feelings will eventually fade away once the Trump administration gets going. I don't think many drastic things will happen, really. He'll move to the left and try to make everyone like him. Or I could be totally wrong.

I'd say the losers are handling it about as well as the winners.

The shame of it is how many people buy into the whole "team politics" concept. There shouldn't be "winners" and "losers" from the vast majority of voters. We should just be Americans who support our political process and the results of a fair election.

I guess like anything, you only hear about the worst of the worst and I'm sure that isn't a representation of the average voter overall. It's like in the lead up to the election when the media was really only interested in portraying stupid people on both sides of the debate and painting with their very wide brush.

I'm not an American, so not living there to experience things first hand, but we have had a lot of coverage here. There's been some great interviews with Americans sharing their thoughts after the election and from what I've seen (which I knew anyway), the average Clinton supporter and the average Trump supporter are just normal, reasonable and decent people. Nothing like how they are sometimes being collectively portrayed by some both here and in the media.

Pretty much that. 99.99 % of the "winners" and "losers" moved on with their life, but are getting blamed for the .1 % who haven't.

The losers of this election are the American people.

It's a pretty diverse place (and I do recognize that is a challenge for some), so naturally there are some acting mature and others who are not.
Didn't we already have a poll like this?
