Who Is The Bigger Threat: The Media or Putin/ISIS?

Trump's twitter account makes it sound like he thinks the mainstream media and its liberal bias is a bigger threat to American than Russia or ISIS.

For liberals, meanwhile, the success of Trump represents a legitimization of right-wing talk radio and alt-right media which empowers racists and conservative authoritarianism.

Which do you think is the bigger threat?
 
Both Russia and ISIS are blown WAY out of proportion as a threat to America.

Russia's military is a fraction of what it was in the U.S.S.R. days. The only thing it still has tons of are ICBM's...and why on Earth would they launch those? To gain what? Their destruction? Russia is no threat to American sovereignty.

And ISIS? They are just about 20,000 or so mercenaries and whackos running around in the desert half way around the world. They have no navy or air force. They are no threat whatsoever to American sovereignty. Other than an occasional terrorist attack that might kill a few dozen (and remember Timothy McVeigh - terrorism is not just Islamic extremist based). More will die from Americans shooting each other in domestic disputes by miles.

The MSM is no threat. They blew their wad during this election campaign and have lost almost all credibility with both left and right.

The Alt-right media? You mean Breitbart and Fox News?? Like they had much influence in the first place.

Putin in Russia? Only to the breakaway states of Old Soviet Russia he wants to re-unite.

ISIS? Well they do hate the US intensely and plot more terrorism...I suppose of all the options they pose the most likely threat. But then again, we have someone in office who isn't going to play fair while ISIS plays dirty anymore. :shrug:

Maybe you should have added more realistic suggestions? :coffeepap:

Neither. Media's not a threat. Media is a bad joke.

Putin? Probably good for us. He seems willing to finish a job we should have.
 
The option I would have picked isn't on there, which is the mainstream media. They're absolutely useless now. If they had done their job properly for the last couple of decades, I believe this nation would be in a much better place.
 
Get rid of the stupid lean bull****. I choose the mainstream media as the bigger and more immediate threat.

The media is stirring up racial tension and promoting political tensions which have and will continue to lead to dangerous riots and the ambushing/killing of police officers. There is no doubt that ISIS and other fundamentalist Islamics are a threat, but unlike the media, they are not a threat which can destroy our nation. Putin, don't make me laugh. In 1990, the Russians proved "they love their children too" and ended the cold war.
 
Putin and his Tsarist, kleptocratic ambitions are far, far, far more dangerous than ISIS.

ISIS is an ant in comparison.

The MSM is (was) our last bastion of truth. Serious and ethical investigation that protected the American people from our gvmt. Now they are in bed with the left as so clearly shown by this last election cycle. It's all infotainment now, I'm afraid. Truth is being held hostage by reporters' personal agendas.

Scary times.

A corrupt media is the greatest danger to freedom and any country. We saw the damage Hitler did with it. He had the people cheering as they marched to their graves. Say a lie loud enough and long enough and it became the truth to those listening.
