Every time someone says something negative about the Trump protestors, or any protesters really, a common response is to say they have the right to protest. I saw it taken a step further where the suggestion was that by being critical; it was just the same as saying they didn't have the right to protest, ergo, this poll. If that made no sense, it doesn't matter, just answer the poll question.

Funny, I see exactly the same thing when some bigoted asshole says some bigoted asshole thing. Right-wingers come out of the woodwork to demand nobody criticize them, because that suppresses their free speech.

That's because the people on the right are every bit as liberal-minded as the people on the left on most things. We have no real conservative parties in this country.

I suppose if you critique someone's asinine argument to the point where they're sufficiently embarrassed that they shut up and go away you may have, in some tenuous way, infringed on their free speech rights because they're not going to spout nonsense anymore. But then there's nothing wrong with that because that is really how free speech is supposed to work. You say something and people either agree with you or tell you to get your head out of your ass.

No, because freedom of speech is not freedom from criticism.

They have a right to protest but they're crybabies just like the tea party was in 2009. They show a contempt for democracy and protesting a corrupt dishonest war monger not being elected president is pathetic.

The TP worked for change, they weren't complaining, they ware actively pursuing a change to the Rep. party. Too bad the Dems. haven't seen any kind of similar effort. They seem content to allow the status quo to continue unabated.
