While the (R) lost the White House in both those years, I thought they did well in both mid-terms during the Obama Presidency and did okay in the 2012 down ballot races. As for gloating, who was it that said "...elections have consequences, I won."?

As I said in my earlier post, historically these types of actions are not done by who is originally suspected. Point in case:

As a white male registered Republican that lives in North Carolina, I can tell you right now that the KKK does not represent me, nor are they a group that has any power. They're membership numbers are miniscule.

They are a joke. An afterthought.

The fact that the LA Times or anyone else is reporting on this as if it matters or shows any correlation to reality of a Trump Presidency, only goes to prove the desperation of those doing so to attack whomever with whatever in a failing attempt to marginalize the legal and legitimate President-elect of the Untied States of America, just because their woman didn't win.

It's sad to see such desperation. I don't like the guy, and I didn't vote for him, but he will be the President and the office still deserves respect.

That's a hard case to make, considering that the Trump team has already waved its enemies' list that so far includes Kasich and Rubio. I mean if they're that vindictive towards their own party, I can only imagine what they have in store for the rest of the country.

At Trump's victory party the chant of "Lock her up" was ongoing for minutes. That's on Trump. Another of his promises that he has already backed down on. Not exactly a classy way for Trump's most ardent supporters to act.

Do you mean to say you don't agree with what she said? You are not bothered by people who say things about minorities and women the way Trump did. What ever happened to manners and civility in this country? He promoted bottom of the barrel trash talking racism, bigotry and the use of a foul mouth. When the president elect can say in public for all to hear during the campaign, "Tell them to go Fu&k themselves", she was right. Those who support that sort of talk are disgusting to most civil minded people. My grandkids watched that crap on TV. It was worse than deplorable.

Then he was rewarded for it by being elected. What is wrong with people?

Also, my question in the OP is not limited to just those few things I listed, but is broader in scope.

How do you see the "winners" behaving on Facebook? Here at DP? Other forums?
On the internet in general? On TV? On the radio? In the newspapers?

Looking quickly through this thread and around DP I am indeed seeing some of those who "won" being good winners.
I'm also seeing some who are NOT being gracious winners.

That has B.S. written all over it. Even a modicum of critical thinking would tell you it's obviously fake.
 
Certainly they are far more so than the losers. Had Trump fans acted like this in the wake of his loss, the MSM would be apoplectic.
