Congrats to those who voted for Trump.
You defeated the worst candidate to ever be nominated by the Dems, with the worst candidate to ever be nominated by the Reps.

So here's my question for you:

How much of what Trump promised he'd do, will he actually do?

He will nominate a Justice, anyway.

He will, but how liberal or how conservative will that nominee be?

That is one of the wonderful things about Trump. Practically every decision he makes will be a black box. There will be a lot of suspense.

I don't really care what he'll do to be honest. I'm still working a minimum wage job

That's the big question. Anyone who knows anything about the man knows he's not a real Republican. He has opposed guns consistently, until he sought the GOP nomination. Maybe I'm wrong, and he's going to be ultra conservative. But I'll reserve judgment on that until we see.

Big question is who he now surrounds himself with.

The only positive thing is that his VP is a true Republican and a real conservative, so there is hope. Plus Pence knows how to work with Republicans in Congress, so maybe Trump will spend the next 4 years admiring his reflection and jetting around the world in Air Force One.

I suspect that a whole boat-load of those cheering this morning, will be getting quite angry over the next few years.

Just a hunch, but time will tell won't it. ;)

No they won't. You haven't been listening. They want the promises he made *and* they want him to shatter the system. If all he accomplishes is the latter then they've won.

You think the GOP will let him "shatter" the system?

The system was rigged? Huh?

I am still baffled that he got the nomination, so weird things have happened. He might actually get something done, whatever that something might be.

To be fair, the vast majority of presidents never ever ever fulfill most of their campaign promises. So....

No. He will not. Here is my view:

He is too inexperienced. He will last 1 term. The democrats will wise up and vote in a better candidate, and he will not get a thing done. Congress will go democrat too. Anything negative he does is going to be Bush x 10 level of coverage. And his only hope? Is to have the best advisors the White House has ever seen. Now. If he puts in some good judges and so on, that might bolster him. But I just don't see it. I didn't see him or Hilary being a 2 term.

Whoa....did the Republicans "wise up" and nominate a "better" candidate than Romney and/or McCain?
Or was it simply that the Dems nominated a far worse candidate?

Thnk you, thank you :)

I suspect it will be quite some time before we will know about this delivery..

But with a R controled house and senate, and judges to appoint, it makes it much more likely Trump will get What Trump wants done, and what the conservatives want done also..

If he remembers Bush 41, he will.

Perhaps three if we are lucky. I wonder how all of those that liked legislating via EO, if (when?) congress critters won't "do the right thing" according to the POTUS, will feel about the shoe being on the other foot. ;)

That greatly depends on if those two things mesh together or not now doesn't it?

Trump may very well want things the "conservatives" don't.
