Us election view from outside the u.s.a.

America, the land of the free? Or is it? As a foreigner looking at this election I must say that honestly it seems like this elections of 2016 seems like a one horse race and the polls would have had Mrs. Clinton leading by over 20+ points by now. There is little or no coverage of Trump, except when a piece is done obviously for him to have no points gained.

America's theme is freedom. Freedom of their people, freedom of people in other nations that never asked for freedom, but why is it that when any person shows support for the right, they are ostracized in US society? Imagine, I am from a third world country and when we have elections here, there is always banter, but nothing like destroying a man's star on the Hollywood walk of fame, not even all the punches thrown at supporters when protesters come in the other man's rally.

Another view the world is seeing with this election is seething racism and racial undertones and we ask ourselves if after the election if people would be able to co exist with the other after the process is over.

This is deemed by many as the worst choice of candidates ever, one cable channel even has it as if the serial 'America' is preparing for impending cancellation. This is not what the world expects from the US and only a fool will say that the US isn't the standard for which other countries measure their expectation of first world status.. Regardless of whoever is the new president, I just hope there are enough independent office holders to understand their public service is for the whole of America and not just for partisan purposes.

The world needs a great America, regardless is some feel she is not and the need to make her great again or even after the dust settles America will be stronger together.
