Who won tonight's presidential debate #3?

Clinton won, but Trump did better than he did in the others (a low hill to climb for him). The problem for Trump is that he said nothing that would gain him any votes that he doesn't already have.

Wasn't even a contest. We got the Debate #1 Trump, where he sucked just as badly as this.

And then, this horrifying moment happened:

NO. GTFO, Donald.

WOW!!!!!! Talk about a thorough and utter ass kicking!!!! With the exception of the five minutes right after the 10 PM hour on the Foundation issue - Clinton dominated from bell to bell and knocked him down repeatedly. And when Trump refused to pledge to honor the election results - he disqualified himself from any consideration by any American who respects the Constitution and our democratic processes. He disgraced himself and should be repudiated by every Republican from this moment onwards.

By no measure did Trump win the debate, Hillary took this one.

why did you forget to make this poll such that we see how people vote? I do get sick of anonymous polls

You can count the amount of polls I have started in the last umpteen years here on one hand. I obviously did not click that option. I really don't care one way or the other myself. Perhaps if we take the peer pressure from the equation people might be more honest? Perhaps?

I posted this in another thread:

Chris Wallace won the debate. ;)

But seriously, I think this was too close to call a winner. Hillary and Trump both had their moments, but I don't know how much this debate is gonna effect the polls.

I'm just so glad that this wasn't a SNL-like ****show about gossipy nonsense like the last two times, and focused on the actual issues at hand.

Good job Chris Wallace for being such a great moderator.

Forgot the option for "didn't watch, don't care"

Canned lines haphazardly tossed past each other just never interests me greatly.

Were you really horrified? Come on now.

Insomniacs.

Clinton needed to not implode. Trump needed to really turn heads, come off as presidential, appeal to women, black peoples and hispanics, and generally dominate. Clinton achieved what she needed to. Trump, not so much.

That a major party nominee is fundamentally anti-democratic?

Normally I would be, but it's just Wednesday in Trumpville.

Did Al Gore horrify you when he actually didn't concede and actually didn't accept the results, and sued George W. Bush all the way to the US Supreme Court and STILL lost? Al's a Democrat, in case you forgot.

That comment of his rates ten OH THE DRAMA icons :dramallama::dramallama::dramallama::dramallama::dramallama:

Was Al Gore fundamentally anti-democratic when he actually didn't concede and actually didn't accept the results, and sued George W. Bush all the way to the US Supreme Court and STILL lost? Just wondering.

I'm a Hillary voter. Trump did not outright lose this debate, and sometimes managed to come across as decently sane.
That's a tie in my book of "bottom of the barrel expectations."

Ah, I figured you guys would whip out that Florida thing again. ;)

It's not even a close comparison. Florida was indeed stolen in 2000, yet you didn't have Democrats threatening a violent revolution when the Supreme Court handed the election to Bush.

I do not trust Trump's base. Trump just threw the biggest piece of red meat to a base that he could, and they are going to devour it. Their whining about a rigged election is the least of my concerns here.

Trump is an artistic genious.

Continuously lowering the level even further, even when everybody with a minimum sense of decency is convinced it has hit the bottom a long, long time ago, requires an amazing artistic talent and creative genious.

Now he spits even in the face of the people, of the voters, by suggesting he won't accept their decision? He spits on the free, democratic process that's at the very basis of any free republic by suggesting he's above it? Just wow. Last time, he just suggested he'll throw his political opponents in jail if he's elected, now he even goes a large step further.

Just an outstanding accomplishment.

As far as I can remember, by a huge margin the very worst candidate who ever ran for President in the US, on all levels. Though I admit I can't comment on third party candidates decades ago.

An unusual situation. Did not Florida law call for a recount?

He's 100% right and even hard-core liberals will admit it. What kind of party nominates this hag as their parties nominee? They didn't have anyone else with less skeletons in their closet?

The irony in the name Democrats. They do not run a democracy in that party, they support a monarchy.

As a civilized person who likes having peaceful, democratic elections, yes, I was.

Then I'm very sorry. But "peaceful" isn't a synonym for "quiet" or "sedate."

Do you think we won't have a democratic election? Are jackbooted thugs threatening to disrupt the process?

And do you remember the 2000 election?

We are done with the 2000 in Florida debacle. This is the year 2016. And your candidate just announced that he will "keep you in suspense" as to whether he would accept a loss at all. Not just that night, or the next day, or the next year, but at all.

Thankfully, the media, whom Trump also blamed for his failure as a candidate, is rolling with this bombshell of a story. :)

You guys? Am I supposed to be on some mailing list or something that I don't know about?

The 2000 election was stolen... not according to every member of the press that was involved in the recount that was done anyway, after the case was heard and ruled on by the SCOTUS.

But, you keep on :beatdeadhorse
