Do you and your spouse sit down and agree on what votes to cast?

My spouse and I work together on voting

  • Yes

    Votes: 4 14.3%
  • No

    Votes: 24 85.7%
  • We horse trade

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • Total voters
    28
We argue. We usually agree, but there is no collusion and obviously no enforcement. We have voted differently sometimes.

We go through item by item to make sure that at least one vote either way is cast. That is to say, if we disagree on something, then we cancel out each other's vote. If we agree, then only one vote will be cancelled out.

Now we do horse trade on somethings as well.

I just grab her ***** and tell her who to vote for.

We don't even discuss it. She votes for who she's going to vote for, and I do the same.

Oh hell no. I'm voting for Johnson, and she's voting for Hillary. LOL.

Nope. She is an indidual and has her own brain. She is one smart cookie!

I do the propositions and initiatives and she usually follows my votes, but on candidates we discuss and usually agree on who we vote for.

Is this all that common?

I tell my wife who to vote for and that is the end of it.

Yea she married the perfect man! Alpha male baby!

If only I was as great as I pretend to be, lol.

I know how great you pretend to be... reality isn't that far off mate.

Stop it! We are not going to pick out curtins together! That is my final word! ;)

Thanks man.

Discuss voting with a spouse? Not hardly. My first wife would have voted however her church advised and my second probably didn't vote. In the build up to the First Gulf War I was following developments and she said, "Is Kuwait in Central America?" "No, it's in the Middle East." "Then why do you care about it?" "My son is on the way there."

I do discuss politics with Diego, my dog, but since he's not a Democrat he doesn't consider voting.

I don't have a spouse, but if I had one, I'd like to think that we'll be a little more open-minded than that.

That being said, I'll ostracize a spouse who'd vote republican

I wonder if your spouse might want a companion who was responsible.
