Why do you need to watch the show when you entire political platform is built on the same model?

I have absolutely no idea what you are mumbling about as this whole Springer thing seems your obsession and is clearly not mine.

Trump likely stopped the hemorrhaging, and shored-up his base support while pacifying the "dump trump" GOP faction.

So he survives to continue the fight. I suspect the polls will stabilize, and may even rebound slightly by the end of the week.

There is only one mistake I think he made, and that was prior to the debate when he had that press conference with the four "victims" of Bill Clinton. While it helped a little bit with allegations Hillary was an enabler...it opened up Trump to a similar tactic from Hillary.

I would not be surprised if she rounded up some women willing to allege he did sexually assault them back in the day sometime in the next week or two.

You gonna be alright? Relax. Trump isn't going to be president.

I just knocked back a bottle of ambien, so don't worry, I'll be fine.

I know full well he's not going to be President. I've been hearing that we're in a "post-truth" society for months now, and seeing it demonstrated so perfectly as it was tonight pissed me off.

Trump got clobbered badly in the first 10 minutes, but after that he did quite well, and was able to deliver some big shots to Hillary.

His biggest gaffe, though, was "I know nothing about Russia". That one will be taken out of context by the Clinton campaign and used in political ads.

This one is a draw, but Trump's improvement from the first debate makes him a winner in my book. I still think his candidacy is toast, but he redeemed himself tonight.
I believe part of the appearance of redemption is due to the unbelievably low expectations! :lamo

Oh the Drama! You guys are why shows like Jerry Springer became a thing.

Does Springer have shows about unrepentant genital grabbers who think its their right to do so assaulting women like Trump confessed to being?

Why don't tell me more how you're so outraged over talk that happens all around the country all the time.

Nah......Trump didn't win, but because he didn't embarrass himself he probably gained a tie.
And yes, the bar is set really low for the Donald.

Funny how the right wingers always complain about this mythical "bias" against Trump (which they claim is the reason why he's losing), when the reality is no other presidential candidate would have gotten this far with the rhetoric Trump has been spouting. The fact that the bar has been set so low for him from the beginning is the reason why he's where he's at today.

Its like two new parents who jump up and down in glee when their baby did not fill its diapers during the night for the first time.

Yeah, he probably does.;)

They are already starting to come forward.

Why don't you prove that he actually did what he talked about. Good luck with that.

I am 67 years old and have never heard anybody claim their status gives them the right to do what Trump confessed to. So you will have to prove to me that this happens all around the country all the time.

Of course, you will not.

The American people lost. Why is that not a poll option?

Clinton didn't do great with the emails, and did not go heavily on the offense. I suspect part of that is her being cautious, and that a town hall is not usually optimal for all-out attacks. Plus, 2 minutes is not enough time to deal with a real live Gish Gallop.

Trump benefits from low expectations; i.e. he did not completely lose his mind, therefore by some people's standards he did well. However, he definitely lost on style points. His body language was awful, the sniffling was awful, feuding with the moderators plays with his supporters but no one else.

This is probably good enough performance from Trump to temporarily halt the defections... until he inflicts another wound on himself. Otherwise, I don't really think anybody really won.
This is a great analysis, IMO.

Actually though, I believe that move unnerved HRC a bit. She looked a bit tight, tonight.

I think you just eclipsed the phrase, "deplorables"! :lamo

I flipped over to find Frank Luntz's focus group and he claimed he was shocked. He thought going into the debate Trump was dead meat but after he polled his focus group, he thinks Trump still has a decent shot to win. His focus group clearly gave Trump the win

Trump lost the debate when he promised to jail his opponent if he wins.

That's what third world countries do while we tsk tsk.

It's too close to call a winner, IMO.

But I will say Trump did much better during this debate than the last **** show.

Idk, there was a lot more sniffling in this debate.

But to be serious, I thought his only bright spot was his final answer where he gave some semblance of a compliment to HC.

For the rest of the debate he was pacing around the room, constantly whined and interrupted (more than usual), and went on tirades about the crookedness of HC instead of talking about the issues.

Hillary pretty much did the same. She kept talking about how she would unite the country while ignoring her 30 years of divisive rhetoric as not representative of her.

So a couple of points to discuss, Affordable Care Act aka ObamaCare:
Hillary said: She had a series of things that she wants to put into place that will bring costs down but did not specify what they are, she did however go into detail about what our healthcare was like prior to Obamacare (i.e. employer based health care and medicare), she also said some of the benefits of Obamacare, no pre-existings, no caps on the healthcare end, children can stay on plan till age 26.
Trump said: and I quote "It's a disaster, it's going up and getting worse, very, very bad, we need to repeal it and replace it with something" His only suggestion was that we get rid of state lines, which we didn't have before Obamacare and prices were still going up.

Trump said later in the debate that we cannot defeat radical Islamic terrorism unless we can name it and once we name it for what it is, we can understand it and defeat it. So using that logic, would you say that Trump or Clinton has a better handle on Healthcare in the United States?

I didn't watch the debate. Source? Mostly - general area of the debate where he said this. It seems like the ultimate nail in the future dictator coffin.

He was speaking to his supporters. His target audience would have been no different if he had said "If elected President I'm going to have her fed to sharks with lasers."
