Believing in god is irrational. A positive claim of existence demands positive evidence. It's called faith for a reason. There is no way to rationally deduce the existence of god.
Belief in god or not has no bearing on the scientific method. Technical and industrial advances are an outgrowth of science. Faith is not a factor. Observation, experiment and evidence are what matter.

Theres plenty of subjective reasons a person may not vote for a politician and they are free to choose those reasons. I'm not voting for hillary but I i wanted to there's nothign in my religion, christianity, that FACTUALLY prevents from doing so, makes it a sin, makes it wrong or forbids it. Nothing.
