Thank you for sharing that. I've researched mold problems because my face was peeling and breaking out and I could think of nothing else it could be. Turns out it was stress related. Didn't know you could get a cough that bad from it, but then it most likely isn't mold because I would think that one of the most if not the most powerful woman in the world would have mold resistant buildings that she goes to.

However, I'm guessing it's due to location change. I get different allergic reactions depending on where I am and in what type of rooms I am in.

Healthy or not a 70 year of body is not as strong as a 28 year old body. Who knows what she can catch on the campaign trail

Exactly the same could be said of Trump, could it not?

It isn't a particularly bad cough. Doesn't cause damage or anything. It's just very "tickly," so if you're also, say, spending a lot of time on dry airplanes and speaking, it tickles.

Mould is actually much more common in newer buildings. The one I was in was built in 2002. The insulation is crap -- often simply cardboard. And of course, cardboard grows mould quite well.

No idea if that's her deal. Like I said, I think she's just blown her voice a bit. But mould, in damp climates, is more prevalent than you'd think.
 
I voted yes.

Is she sick? Yes, that wouldn't surprise me at all.

Is she going to drop dead imminently? No, that's not likely.

Do I care if she IS about to drop dead imminently? Not really, because Tim Kaine would be a much better president than Loser Donald or Crazy Mike.

I'm glad you are so careless about national security. God forbid a foreign terrorist organization got a hold of something damning that can be held over her head during her presidency. Yeah I don't think Trump is the picture perfect of health either. I can't believe he got his weirdo doctor to write that letter in all of five minutes proclaiming him to be the healthiest guy ever. Although, I can say this about the candidates, there doesn't seem to be any lingering drug abuse or alcoholism scandals that could potentially come out.

Some people on the right think that Clinton is sick just like some of them think that Obama is a Muslim from Kenya.

We'll probably still be hearing this 8 years from now at the end of her 2nd term.

By then there might be some truth to it.

Ignoring my substantial disdain for Hillary Clinton, I think running for President would be extremely demanding physically.

Clearly something is going on with the cough, and perhaps the head injury she suffered has some lasting effects that are exacerbated by the physical demands.

She doesn't appear steady on her feet at times, and there seems to be people around her beyond the Secret Service who are looking out for her.

Does that mean she is sick?

Who knows.

But it wouldn't be unwise to look closely at her VP pick, because if Clinton is elected, he just might be President sooner than later.

You do need an in-between option in your poll.

I doubt she's physically "sick", but there has been enough recent examples that her status now warrants some kind of honest public disclosure, and more than just her private doctor issuing a statement. Health is far more important to the job than tax status. Unfortunately, honest public disclosure is like kryptonite to her.

I am seriously amused at the typical responses, so far, though... and almost as if on cue...

- Extreme left-wing whack jobs: Nothing to see here.
- Extreme right-wing whack jobs: OMG, she's gonna die! Another reason to not vote for her.
- People in the middle: Actually discussing the topic rationally.

I go back and forth on this. Like everything else even full disclosure might not tell you much. With advances in medicine, what used to be life threatening could now just be a chronic problem. Seemingly healthy people die every day, while we all know folks that have had serious illnesses and lived a long life.

Hard enough to try and figure out who has the best policies or if they will actually do those things. All the rest, like taxes and health is a distraction IMO.
 
There is no poll option for "I don't know," and I don't know. I read a PDF a couple of days ago offering "analysis" by an anesthesiologist :)roll: ) and others on how Hillary Clinton shows the signs of Parkinson's. I've read about the black guy with the epi-pen/flashlight who may/may not be a neurologist.

I don't know. YOU don't know, whoever you are. None of us knows. But we have the right to know before we cast our votes.

Never mind the year or the candidate: Would you vote for somebody who has a progressively degenerative neurological disease/problem?
 
Personally, I think Hillary Clinton is a disease in and of herself. But that's just me.

I wish you had an option for "I don't care".

I voted "no" as I don't believe she has a life-threatening illness that will strike her down during the next 4 years of her life.
I don't believe she has any kind of illness that will render her incapable of being POTUS should she get elected.

That's not an endorsement on my part. I just don't believe the feces-laden idiocy I see about her health.

Bottom line - her overall health and/or her outlook for living through 4 years of being POTUS isn't why I would or wouldn't vote for her.
It's a non-issue.
 
Not a Hillary defender by any means nor am I a doctor...but know from experience that allergies and the chronic cough that often goes with it can throw you into uncontrollable coughing fits. It's embarrassing and difficult to control but not a serious life threatening or debilitating illness.

Yes...She does appear a bit unsteady at times....but that could be the lighting, her shoes, her eyesight, and yes...getting back to allergies - the congestion can even affect the ears/balance.

Hmm. Do I think someone is unhealthy when:

1. I have no access to their medical records (nor should I)
2. I have no medical expertise which would qualify me to evaluate their medical records if I did have them
3. I've never seen this person anywhere but on TV, and so don't even have the slightest personal observation that would give me a layman's opinion as to this person's health

Given that, it seems totally justifiable to wildly speculate.

But hey, Donald Trump, like a high-schooler who turns 18 in his senior year can write his own doctor's notes, so obviously there are no concerns about his health.

I agree. It could be very well something that is chronic, but still just an annoyance and not serious at all.

I do feel that some better disclosure would help in that regard, but I also know that nothing would satisfy the "anyone but Hillary" crowd.
 
I have no idea whether Hillary Clinton is suffering from some chronic illness or disease as is being implied, but it seems reasonable to me that a person, woman or man, in their late 60s, would find the grind of a Presidential primary season and then a Presidential campaign very taxing. Being out in the public daily and in contact, pressing hands and in close personal contact, can subject anyone to viruses and bacteria that can slow a person down in addition to just being tired out by all the constant daily activity. I've often thought Trump looks sick as well, but mostly just tired, which can also explain a lot of inconsistencies and strange comments.

Personally, I think both are too old to be running for the position - in four or eight years in the position, they'll be even less effective. But their health is the least of either's problems - Clinton is a despicable human being, old or not, and that should be the basis for not voting for her.
 
I think that she is sick, I also think there are better things to attack her on.
