No. No reason at all.

His income tax returns are no business of anyone's other than the IRS, his accountant...and perhaps his wife.

Anyone who thinks someone's income tax records should be a matter for the public eye? Feel free to set the example and post all of yours on the internet for the world to see. :coffeepap:
I would but I'm not running for President

Interesting how those who want to see Obama's grades in High School don't want to see Trump's taxes released. I wonder why....

Because they are......hypocrites?

Sounds like an excuse to me. Show us all how you put your money where your mouth is.

Post all your past income tax info onto a free website and allow anyone who wishes to view them.

People seem to think they are going to discover something significant in publication of Tax returns.

Tax returns offer no further protection against public corruption, but do offer a voyeuristic peek into the private lives of candidates. What tax breaks do they seek? How much do they contribute to charity? What is their precise income level and their effective tax rate? No one really believes that they will find a crime that the IRS somehow managed to miss, like some sort of financial Sherlock Holmes, and almost everyone who reads them wouldn’t have the expertise to catch one anyway.

The truth is that demanding this is really just a talking point, there is no actual value except nosiness.

Most politicians use all sorts of screens to cover assets they can use, as demonstrated by all the "foundations," "blind Trusts," and other methods of playing Three Card Monty with wealth/assets.

The politicians who have kow-towed to this faux issue do so because they have already done everything they could to make sure those records are fairly innocuous.

LOL, it's really not random dudes on the internet who have set the example - it's EVERY candidate for the past few decades of both parties. I think Hillary's released 33 straight years at this point...

Umm, I don't support making personal income tax records public...or did you miss that in your rush to respond?

Nice way to deflect. Given Trumps claims and how much he has lied I think we need to see his tax returns.

Should Trump publish his tax returns?
I am a Democrat Yes
I am a Democrat - No
I am a Republican- Yes
I am a Republican- No
I am other- Yes
I am other- No
Other - Pls explain

Since the primary sales pitch for him is that he's a successful billionaire, then yes, I don't think it's unreasonable to see some verification for that claim. If I ran for President on the basis that I was a brilliant basketball player, nobody could be blamed for asking to see me shoot a hoop or two. If I said, "Vote for me for President, I'm a badass basketball player" and then told you it was none of your business to see me shoot a basket, you'd be completely in the right to assume I was full of ****.

Perhaps he saw what happened when Mittens released them last election cycle. A large percentage of the Democratic party hates rich people. Especially ones that made their money in the private sector.

Really, because the words from Mitt showed more the disdain the republicans have for the 47% of leeches. Democrats do not hate rich people, they just want them to pay a fair share of the taxes.

Is it a legal requirement?

Who cares about his tax returns?

I'm more interested in the hate and fear that he's been spreading.

Of course Trump should let us see his tax returns. But at this point the man is in a nosedive and is crashing and burning right before our eyes and nothing is going to change that.

Should Trump publish his tax returns?

Certainly.

Trump should publish his corporate/personal tax records for the past decade so the American people understand his deep financial connections to Russian oligarchs who poured investment capital into Trump accounts when US banks wouldn't deal with Trump due to his proclivity to declare bankruptcy.
