Or an empty one. No matter which one you stop at or the time, it's usually busy. But everyone still hates them.

Come to my city. It was so bad I took the rare step of actually filling out the survey. Granted this was one specific store.

You are correct if the question is: What FF place has the most boring sandwich where they only slap a little mayo and a pickle on the bun. Honestly....I don't get why people like this place...I went twice. Two times too many.

One, service. You will never have a bad experience. Two, they have 10 different sauces. Three, waffle fries.

Sounds like they've changed up their menu some. I haven't been in over 20 years. I went to one about 30 years ago. I thought it was really gross...the chicken was dry and it was on a bun with a little mayo and 2 pickles...really boring. I tried it again about 5 years later...pretty much the same experience, except the chicken was better, it wasn't overcooked and dry like it was the first time, but I still found it to be wholly unoriginal and kind of boring. KFC has better seasoned chickened in my opinion.

My favourite is Wendy's followed by Five Guys (popular on the East Coast I believe) and third is McDonald's. My least favourite is Burger King.

I agree on Wendy's and Five Guys though I've never thought of Five Guys as a fast food place like Wendy's or McDonalds.

Also White Castle. I have it once or twice a year. Love ém going down the hatch. Not so much when they exit.

Same, who the hell wants to eat a chicken sandwich? I'll take a burger anytime. If I want to eat chicken then I'll eat it as a chicken dinner.

Its still basically the same sandwhich. Bun, chicken, pickles. Add your own sauce if you want. Of course you can now get it spicy breaded, or as a club sandwich, or grilled. But the plain sandwhich is still pretty good, but yes you have to add your own sauce.

Lots of people apparently. They have the highest per restauraunt sales of any other fast food chain. More sales per unit than McDs (but many less stores)

I voted for Wendy's. We only eat FF a few times a year so when we do it needs to be GOOD. IME, Wendy's consistently has decent burgers and fries. I also like the option of having a baked potato and chili. I will give props to McDs for their fries. When they are fresh out of the fryer with the perfect amount of salt....mmmmmmm. Quick meals for us usually come from Wawa. Nothing like Wawa.

The chicken is, by far, the best chicken out there. Nothing beats Chick-Fil-A chicken. So delicious. Also, they don't put mayo on the sandwich for you, you have to add that yourself. So you can put as much mayo as you want.

They do have good chicken, but for my money Wendy's makes a better chicken sandwich.

I don't eat fast food hardly anymore. But when I do I hit my faves up if possible.

I was curious where you guys go when you can based on "Best" criteria.

Oh if you NEVER eat FF, great this poll is not for you.

My first choice is "Five Guys" It is pricy, but clearly the best. My second choice is "Chick Filet".

Nah. I just tried one a couple of weeks ago. Dry and not very flavorful. I'm in the Chick-fil-A camp.

Everyone talks about Five Guys and I've never tried it. We supposedly have one being built here right now. I will most definitely try it.

In due time, though. This place is such a culinary black hole that every time a new place opens it is packed for literally weeks. I will wait until the crowds die down.

I guess. People seem to like it. I just found it to be utterly boring. It sounds like since I've been there (25 years ago) they have gotten a little better. I just didn't think their chicken was all that flavorful. I think the KFC seasoning blend is better and I even like the spicy Popeyes. I've heard that Chikfila now has a spicy version too. Maybe I'll try it again...but there aren't any that are close to me. There's one in Hollywood but its such a zoo parking in that area!

Five guys is good. They have a lot of "toppings" options and their fries are really good. They are a little on the pricey side for a fast food joint though.

You got a bad one, then.

Excellent chicken joint that's only regional in the southeast is Zaxby's.

Steak and Shake

Steak and Shake is good....I like the fact that its a little step up from most fast food. We hit a few last summer when we were in Illinois/Ohio/Michigan. They just opened one in the LA area in Burbank....fairly close to me....so I was happy to see them make their way out west. I think there are only about 3-4 in SoCal right now.

The best thing about Steak & Shake is they serve a full burger menu during breakfast hours.

Frisco Melt, fries and a chocolate malt.

There is only one answer to this poll.....the others are a distant 2nd place:
