Nope, but she most certainly is the lesser of 2 evils. She is at least not the Donald, the real piece of bull extrement.
Trump has the chance of being a good president, a mediocre president or a bad president. Hillary is guaranteed to suck. she sucked as a senator-she only passed a view bills and most of them were stuff like naming a post office after someone The one substantive bill she got passed had dozens of other sponsors. She sucked as a secretary of state. Her lies about classified material is well known. She sucked in most things she did and her suckage was only mitigated because she was say practicing law in front of regulatory bodies appointed by her Husband. She flunked the bar exam in DC, she got canned from the Watergate investigation. so tell me why she is so great? and what exactly has Trump done that causes you to be so upset with him?

again, when did a member of Hillary Clinton's "posse" called for putting the Donald in front of a Firing Squad and shooting him to death? You know like what a surrogate/speaker/advisor of Trump did last week.

Gee, DP libs fawning over the commie convention. What a shocker.

Your comments clearly prove you do not know what a commie is or what a commie convention is. What a shocker

I watched both in their entirety.

The Democratic Convention was one of the best ones ever and contained some of the best speeches I've seen in my lifetime.

The Republican Convention was disorganized and sloppy with very little talented speakers. The theme of hate and fear was unsettling and made the viewer nervous. I think everyone on both sides of the aisle can agree that this was the worst convention since Television.

D's...I did not pay any attention to the looks, only the sales pitch and the speech quality.

D: 6.8

R: 5.7

Dont think either will do much for either.

I am wrong occasionally.

:joke:

They both sucked. Especially the candidates speeches which ran over and cause Battlebots to get delayed. I'd rather watch motorized destruction than national destruction any day... So here's a little sample of the best thing on TV the last two Thursdays:

The DNC took away voter rights. They essentially defied the US constitution and spit in the face of American voters. A convention supporting and cheering for a crooked criminal... Now that's disturbing!

That is laughable. Bernie lost by nearly 4 million votes nationwide. He was handily defeated. As a comparison, back in 2008, Obama actually got less votes in the primaries than Hillary did, but he won by flipping superdelegates. Yet you did not hear Hillary voters whining about the election being stolen from her.

Umm. Not whining? That is not true.

Deja Vu All Over Again: Why The Superdelegates Don’t Matter Yet

Some Clinton supporters didn’t take the “defections” well. Those who complain about the “tone” of some Sanders supporters online have forgotten how heated things became late in the game in 2008:

In more than dozen messages sent yesterday evening and shared with The Huffington Post, supporters of Clinton emailed a laundry list of political and exceedingly personal attacks on Obama’s candidacy, including criticisms of his prior associations and claims that he, not Clinton, had played the race card. The letters underscore the high emotional pitch of the late stage Democratic primary as well as the utter conviction among many supporters of both campaigns that their candidate is solely worthy of the nomination.

This deluge continued until the convention, with the “can’t win without us” movement.

I add this historical data to remind everyone that Democratic presidential primary fighting and angst about the superdelegates are nothing new. Clinton supporters in 2008 complained about Obama’s supporters not living in the real world and Obama supporters complained that Clinton was getting unfair support from the party establishment.

DNC Chairman Tim Kaine steps down in 2011, hey that's weird, isn't he the current Dem VP candidate.

Debbie Shultz takes over, weird again, she worked on Clinton's previous presidential campaign as co chair.
Current DNC primary weirdly cuts the number of primary debates down to 5, wonder why?

Emails leak showing DNC bias and attempts to sabotage Sanders campaign.

No, no, nothing to see here folks, the DNC primary was completely fair.
Corruption is bad, but when people, not involved, make excuses for it, it's worse.

The Democratic one has been better with much better speeches and ads. The Republican one felt like it had a dark cloud over it the whole time.

That said, by the time the election comes around I think any effect the conventions have has worn off. So in the end they don't matter.
This. I think the Dem convention came off better and was better organized.

In a relative sense.

I found the poll options too many and too confusing. I didn't vote.

Someone said the republican one was more like the Götterdämmerung than a description of what the US is like (looking in from the outside).

Twilight of the Gods for those neither fluent in German nor have a depth of Wagnerian classical music education 😊

Mothers of mopes? wow. real presidential megastars? who would that be-Hillary's crooked husband? Rudy G is in terms of star power was as big as anyone the dems had. a bunch of entertainers who have almost no educations that counts among the lot of them? wow, that's impressive. the DNC was tarnished by the well known and now confirmed proof that the Dems rigged the game for Hillary. she is on record as a confirmed liar on issues that actually matter.

I try to be as non partisan as I can but Giuliani's "there are terrorists trimming thier beards under your bed" line was a bit of an eye-roller

good point, I have too much crap under my bed for any jihadists to be hiding there. Plus the big siberian forest cat who sleeps there would claw them a new asshole if they invaded his roost.

Well, that would make her pass more laws than Trump ever did. She also co-sponsored 74 other bills that became law. But again, that is 74 more than Donald Trump.

And no, Trump has zero chance of being a good or a mediocre president, he would be a terrible president. He does not have the knowledge, the experience, the temperament or the abilities necessary to become even a mediocre president.

Hillary may have faults, Trump however is one huge cavalcade of faults.

Let me let you in on a little secret. The RNC didn't want Trump either. Just the same, if you looked at state demographics way back in January and said that every state where blacks constituted 10% or less of the population Sanders would win. Every state where blacks constituted more than 10% of the population, Clinton would win. That is exactly how the primaries came out. That is exactly how they would have came out had the entire leadership of the DNC been in a coma for the last 6 months.

Please what? A commie has very different points of views than where on show at the DNC, now there were close to social democratic views given at the DNC but as said it does not even come close to a commie party, the military support for example would give true commies hives and boils.

This has nothing to do with Trump, stop deflecting.
The fact of the matter is, there was meddling in the primaries to favor Hillary.
They were far away from fair.

Trying to justify that internalized corruption is pathetic.
Wrong is wrong, no matter who the candidates are.

Not only that but during the planning stages of an attack, I find it somewhat unlikely that one of the steps is "make sure your beard is nice and even so you look presentable for your virgins"

You are missing the point. You could have predicted the outcome of the primaries based on demographics alone. If there was meddling it had no discernible impact at all. If you think any political party is completely neutral as to who they want for their candidate, then you are naive.

Ok, so we should go ahead and decide primaries by use of predictions?
No one has to vote?

I'm not naive, but if you're going to do it, you better not get caught.
They did and now they're paying the price.
#Demexit is real, trying to dismiss Bernie supporters is not going to work.

You're handwaving over the fact that they did it and it was against the rules, which should disqualify the participants.

Polling is showing that at least 90% of Bernie supporters will vote for Hillary come November. Everyone did get to vote, and Hillary won 4 million more votes. That is actually quite a big margin in a contested primary. I am sorry, but if you think that liberals that voted for Bernie will all of a sudden throw their votes to Trump, then you are delusional. The Republicans are going to lose this November because they nominated a racist, bigoted, sexist, pathologically lying demagogue for a candidate. You can take that to the bank. Hillary will be your next president. You might as well get used to it.

Yes, you're using the binary poll, rather than the 4 choice poll, which would suggest otherwise.
Again though, it does not matter.
It doesn't change the fact that the primary was manipulated.
You can't retreat from that, you shouldn't defend that.

You're trying to twist and turn, deflect and make assumptions about my motivations.
All while excusing what is fraudulent and inexcusable behavior.

I selected "Other".

The great things about the RNC were Donald Trump Jr.'s speech (the best I saw in either convention), Scott Baio and.....Scott Baio.

The great things about the DNC were some of the speeches, and the Bernie revolutionaries. They kept it interesting.

Very different? No. You are all birds of a feather.
