Uhhh,
I'd probably call the holcaust the worst of it.
Please describe what you mean by "the worst of it"
I saw a documentary the other day on what Euro's think of America, and it's pretty much all deragatory. Yet there all wearing "GAP" hoodies or Nike shoes.
In other words, if you own any levi's or ever drink coca-cola, thanks for your part in expanding the american empire.

- Medical advances (mostly researched and developed in the US, and all driven by free market capitalism) have nearly doubled the life expectancy in the Western world over the past century, and show no sign of slowing down.
- Two of the most brutal expansionist threats the world has ever seen, Nazism and communism, were defeated.
Not really most of the biggest American advancements have come from the military.
But arguable that America is its own expansionist threat.

Umm no.
Not really. America throws its weight around too much, but that isn't the same as expansionism. The US hasn't been interested in conquering any new land for 100 years.
Yes but look at US diplomacy and look how it affect the receiving end of it.
Uh huh, and compare that to Soviet or Nazi diplomacy.
Just because something was worse dose not mean what we do is right.
