I worry about South Africa, post-Mandela. I wonder if you do the same... assuming you're aware of how things are changing on the ground there.
In the following video, the current president of South Africa sings a very disturbing song. I will let you listen for yourself.
The conditions for genocide seem to be rolling to a high boil, and it is troubling.
Dr. Gregory Stanton, head of Genocide Watch, warned that South Africa was at Stage 6 out of 8 on the road to genocide: the planning and preparation phase. “There is thus strong circumstantial evidence of government support for the campaign of forced displacement and atrocities...there is direct evidence of government incitement to genocide.”
In addition to the government inciting violence, as we have learned from the example of Nazi Germany and their genocide, often a precursor to such atrocity is a collapse in the general economy and welfare of the people. It's easy to whip up a pitchfork-wielding mob when the people are starving, jobless, and angry. Just give them someone to blame.
In the past 20 years, unemployment, poverty, AIDS, murder, corruption and crime all have all surged, and South Africa now regularly tops the charts worldwide in terms of rape and murder. A child is said to be raped every 3 minutes in that country, and as many as a quarter of all South African women report to have been raped. Hate crime is at an all-time high. Unemployment tops 25 percent officially (double the rate 20 years ago), 40% unofficially. Half the population lives on a dollar a day.
Average life expectancy has plummeted to 53 years old, in the rest of the world it is around 70 years old.
Just as the Nazi party made no secret of what they were planning to do (although it fell upon deaf ears at the time), neither are the forces in South Africa making any secret of their plans.
In a post titled “The Bullet or the Bullet,” the South Africa-based outfit “BlaqSoul Afrika,” said, “We are not fighiting a faceless oppressor, the oppressor is not just a system of white supremacy, the oppressor is the white race, and when we speak of the distraction of white supremacy in its totality, we speak of the distraction of the white race in its totality!”
The post presumably meant “destruction” of the white race, rather than distraction.
“Now repeat after me Black woman and Black man: The oppressor has a face and the face is white. We ought to wipe out the white face, ending our suffering as a people! Black power!”
Another example.... The EFF political party (Economic Freedom Fighters) has as one of its stated goals: “Fight white males.”
The situation reminds me a bit of what happened in Zimbabwe a few decades ago, under Mugabe. After taking over, horrific tragedy followed as people were slaughtered en mass. Zimbabwe, once considered the breadbasket of Africa, is now suffering from mass starvation and is totally dependent on international food aid. I hope the same does not happen to South Africa.
