In the aftermath of a surprise eco-terrorist attack that involved three middle aged men from Ontario, a bucket of Elmer's Glue, and a giant fish bowl, you must vote for a Democrat for President.

In all seriousness, just thought this would be an interesting poll to have. Simply put, if you're a conservative or vote Republican, and you had (emphasis on had, don't just post "I wouldn't vote even if it killed me!) to vote for a Democratic Canidate, whom would you (reluctantly) vote for?

If you had someone in mind and it's not on the poll, feel free to select other and explain.

Heya Baron. :2wave: I would have to vote other. Jim Webb Former Senator of Virginia. Former US Marine and UnderSec. of the Navy.

He isn't into Nation Building. But not an isolationist either. He would do what needs to be done. He is left of Hillary on Social issues and is somewhat fiscally responsible.

Oh, and he would be about protecting US interests.

Hey.

Now I feel stupid for not adding him.

Not a bad answer at all.

I don't agree with him on some things. But for Foreign Policy. The Former Vietnam Vet. Has what it takes. He would be trouble for the Repubs in a General.

Sanders is the most liberal.
O'Malley talks the talk but I have a hard time seeing him walk the walk on the liberal side.
Chafee is a fruitcake.
Biden and Clinton would play to the base for the nomination and run to the center in the general. I would trust Biden more than Clinton who is totally untrustworthy.
Webb would be the least offensive democrat if he ran.

I picked other. There isn't a Blue Dog Democrat on that list. They are pretty rare these days since the left of their party has pretty much neutered them. If "forced" to vote Democratic would have to be a write-in.

Like it or not....at this point in time, there is not a democrat that I could hold my nose and vote for. Perhaps if Zell Miller was still healthy and running, I would have voted for him over John McCain.

I voted "Other" because Jim Webb isn't there. I would also vote for Joe Manchin if he ever decided to run, and very possibly Evan Bayh. Also my former Governor, John Lynch. Loved the man.

Jim Webb if I wanted a good President. Biden or Sanders if I wanted to be entertained.

Webb, Chafee...and if a libertarian-minded GOP feller were to be selected, I'd pull the trigger for Clinton.

Hillary will win if she makes it to the general election. Most Republicans know they isn't a Republican in the race that they would vote for against Hillary.

What a silly thing to say. You're being facetious, right?
