It will be a competition between two dynasties in the United States. It will be very interesting, so, which one is your favorite?

Favorite? Not really sure that word could apply to those two.

Hillary for the win. Not that, that makes me happy. But its gonna go down that way.

I'll add that it seems very unlikely that Jeb Bush will win the nomination, and I suspect this entire thread it a pre-victory lap bait thread.

Yea, I think while he is trending well right now. He just wont have the steam to carry it through. He really should have waited.

Who seems likely to win it? Bush might not win but hes certainly the favorite right now

I voted for Jeb, but with as much enthusiasm as I would have answered the following poll question:

Which is your favorite: Dying by fire, or Freezing to death?

Guess that depends on who you ask and when you asked them.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - 2016 Republican Presidential Nomination

But if he keeps answering foreign affairs questions concerning his brother's time in office needing 4-5 takes to get it right he has no where to go but down. That said, for this week it appears the spread has Bush up 2 points over both Walker and Rubio (and 2 of the 3 have not even announced yet.)

How exactly is both halves of a husband and wife team holding elected office a dynasty? Dynasties are about passing power down generations, kind of like a wealthy entrepreneur who used his wealth and power to get into government and then to get his son into the senate, who then used his wealth and power to get his son into government and eventually into the presidency, who then used his wealth and power to get his son into government and eventually into the presidency. If we were talking about Chelsea Clinton being president, then "dynasty" might be an appropriate way to refer to the Clintons, but in this instance, it only applies to the Bushes, who have been an aristocratic family for over a century.

Personally I'd pick Warren over Hillary, but Hillary's the one who would win the election...and I've got two "Hillary" signs in my basement waiting for me to bring them out....

Dynasties are rulers from the same family. It is NOT limited to passing rule down through generations.

Why are you talking about the Kennedy family in a thread about the Bush/Clinton matchup in 2016?

This thread should be titled "Which one sucks less". Hillary is a nightmare and the best thing I can say about Bush is that he's not Huckabee or Lindsay Graham.

This thread made me vomit.

LOL. I hear that. I went with Bush too, not because he is my preference for the GOP nominee by a long stretch, but I still have to believe he would do less damage to the country than Hillary will do. And IMO Hillary would have done less damage than Obama has done. (Even though she wouldn't remember half of it and wouldn't have a clue how the other half happened other than she would be sure it wasn't her fault.)

What I can say for Jeb Bush is that I would have to hold my nose to vote for him, but not as tightly as I had to do to vote for McCain.

Bush, easily.

I'm halfway to John Adams on this point, myself.

Sometimes families create better politicians and wiser rulers. Why must we be blinded so much by liberalism and democracy to deny the potential merits of even a tinge of informal aristocracy?

Neither are names I hope to see on the ballot for Prez
