Self explanatory. Give your thoughts pls
Basically it's the latest attempt to make men who are out of shape okay with being out of shape.
Is this like all the fat chick forever posting those images with self affirmations about how big is beautiful and such as that?

I rest my case.
Okay. I went and had Google explain it to me.
My thoughts are that there is not currently a dad bod "craze", "trend", or "fad".
American men, by and large, are fat asses, and American women, also fat asses by and large, are accepting of it, and vice versa.
There's nothing "new" or "trendy" about that.
If men and women in America didn't accept each others fatassedness 75% of America wouldn't be getting laid.
Gotta say, in general I've seen a lot more fatasses watching BBC and Sky than I've seen on any American channel, a lot more.
Probably 80% of guys out there are either "dad bods" or bigger. I just love how that remaining 20% thinks they are so much better than the rest of the populace.
I didn't hear about it until the last week.
I'm cool with it. The less we (the average person) feel * immensely pressured* to look like someone from the film 300 or a Penthouse Model, the better.
There's been a rise in image problems and eating disorders for both boys/men and girls/women, and that should be concerning.
Obesity and the diseases that come from being overfat are more concerning, due to the sheer number.
Complacency, which is ultimately what this dad bod fad boils down to, is not a good thing
The supposedly named "Dad bod" is quite normal, largely healthy (not without a few modifications, mind you).
Obesity numbers are staggering, but seeing one end of the spectrum likewise does not make it desirable to increase pressure for young people of both sexes to look like their ideals.
lol, my body isn't great, I just don't care.
To let my guy flag fly, I've never really been in a situation where I can't attract women, even while carrying an extra 40 lbs like I am now. As long as I can do that, I figure my body is ok.
Never heard of it.
